September 21 is World Alzheimer’s Day—a time to raise awareness, honor caregivers, and stand with the millions impacted by dementia.
Today, over 7 million Americans live with Alzheimer’s, and 1 in 9 people age 65+ will face it. Globally, dementia is projected to become the 3rd leading cause of death by 2040.
Behind every diagnosis are caregivers—nearly 12 million Americans provide unpaid care for loved ones with dementia. Their strength and compassion are the backbone of families and communities.
By 2025, care costs will reach $384 billion. So, awareness and advocacy are essential. Let’s come together so no one faces Alzheimer’s alone. 💜
