Hi everyone β Iβm Bonnie, owner of Autumn Moon Farm in Grafton, MA, and Iβm excited to offer professional horse sitting services in Central Massachusetts.
I noticed a gap in this area, especially when I am trying to go on vacation with my husband, and I said to myself hey you have so much experience with horses (ALL KINDS OF HORSES, good the bad, mean, the kind sometimes and, tries to bite your butt when you turn your back kind) and LOVE HORSES MORE THAN ANYTHING except my husband, step kids and the rest of my family of course! ;)
With over 40 years of horse experience, I provide dependable, knowledgeable care while owners are away. I specialize in feeding, stall care, grooming, turnout, and daily wellness checks, all done in your horseβs own environment.

Basic Care Visit β $40 per visit (1β2 horses)
Feed, water, visual health check
Standard Care Visit β $55 per visit (1β2 horses)
Feed, water, turn in/out, stall or paddock care, light grooming
Full Care Visit β $70 per visit (1β2 horses)
Feed, water, turn in/out, full stall mucking, grooming, hoof care, supplements
Additional horses: $10β$15 per visit
Extra stall mucking: $15 per stall
Vet/Farrier holding: $30 per hour
Holiday visits: +20%

Q: Why are your rates higher than barn help?
A: I bring over 40 years of hands-on horse experience. Iβm not just doing chores β Iβm monitoring health, behavior, and routine consistency while youβre away.
Q: Do you offer overnight stays?
A: No β I provide daily visit care only, as I maintain my own farm.
Q: Do you charge per horse or per visit?
A: Pricing is per visit for 1β2 horses, with a small additional fee for extra horses.
Q: Can you give medications or supplements?
A: Yes β owner-provided supplements and non-injectable meds are welcome.
Q: Do you cover holidays?
A: Yes, holiday visits are available with a 20% holiday rate.
