As the seasons begin to shift and the days grow warmer, it can be a great time to reconnect with small self-care habits. Seasonal changes often impact our mood, energy, and stress levels, which makes it important to intentionally care for both our mind and body.
Two simple ways to support your mental well-being in the warmer weather:
🌿 Mindful Nature Walk
Take a slow walk outside and focus on what you notice around you—the sounds of birds, the feeling of the breeze, or the warmth of the sun. Practicing mindfulness in nature can help calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and improve mood.
☀️ Grounding Breaths in the Sun
Spend a few minutes outside taking slow, deep breaths. Try inhaling through your nose and exhaling slowly through your mouth. Deep breathing helps regulate the body’s stress response, lower tension, and bring your mind back to the present moment.
Small moments of intentional self-care can have a powerful impact on how we move through our week. Sometimes the simplest practices are the ones our nervous system needs the most. 🌱
