Fremont Adult and Continuing Education - FACE FUSD in Fremont, CA Fremont Adult School aka FACE.edu offers educational opportunities and services for the unique needs of lifelong learners in the Fremont, CA community.

Why Fremont Adult and Continuing Education (FACE)? We offer a wide variety of courses at low cost or NO cost to you. Our class times are flexible. Adult Basic Education (ABE) courses are individualized to meet your needs. Career Technical Education prepares students for new careers in banking, as well as helping students earn certifications in AutoCAD and Quickbooks. Citizenship courses prepare students for the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services naturalization test. Our Community Education courses offer opportunities for enrichment. Distance Learning programs for ESL, GED® Test Preparation, and Parent Education offer learning opportunities at home for students who are unable to attend regular classes. English as a Second Language (ESL) courses help students to function in daily living situations and to prepare for higher education. We are an official GED® Testing Center, and we will prepare you for the GED test. We offer a variety of Health and Safety courses that promote physical fitness and safety. In addition, we offer a full range of courses towards earning your High School Diploma. Courses are available as teacher-directed classes and in the Independent Study program. Our Parent Education program empowers students to participate more fully in their children's development. Our Special Education program is designed to expand the vocational, academic, and independent living skills of adults who are developmentally disabled, emotionally and/or physically handicapped.

Looking for some one-on-one time with your toddler/preschooler?

Fremont Adult & Continuing Education offers Mommy or Daddy & Me Classes. Classes focus on creative art, open play, science exploration, reading readiness, pre-math skills, music & movement, and story time. Parents participate with their child in all aspects of the program. Come have fun learning together with us!

Classes available for 18-24 months, 2-3 year olds, & 3-5 year olds.

A Mother & Daughter BankWork$ Success Story

F.A.C.E. has been offering a BankWork$ course for over 7 years. This program is a FREE 8-week training, provided by CareerWork$, that prepares students for entry-level positions in the banking industry. Over the years BankWork$ has experienced many success stories!! One of these stories includes a mother and daughter, Meenu and Chesta!!

Chestha recently graduated from Bankwork$. She was hired by BMO and is working as an Associate Banker. According to Chestha, “Retail gave me experience with people, but I wanted more - a real career path. BankWork$ became that turning point. The support, education, and encouragement I received helped me break into banking and believe in my potential.”

Chestha's mother and role model, Meenu, graduated from BankWork$ in 2023 and has since been working with US Bank. She is currently a Client Relationship Consultant 2 following a promotion received after just a year of service. She said, “Before I joined BankWork$, I was working at Kohl’s, trying to figure out how to build a more stable and fulfilling career. Banking always seemed out of reach, but BankWork$ changed that. The program gave me the tools, training, and confidence I needed to make the leap into the financial industry.”

Hello FACE Community!!

The Chase Center is hosting the California Classic Event on Saturday, July 5 and Sunday, July 6th at 1:30 pm. Both days will host 2 basketball games with the Golden State Warriors, San Antonio Spurs, Los Angeles Lakers, and Miami Heat. A one day ticket gets you access to both games that day, at 1:30 pm and at 3:30 pm.

The Chase Center will give us $5 back for each ticket we sell!! There are three levels of tickets available, Lower Level 2 for $40.46, Lower Level 1 for $52.02, and Sideline Club for $75.14.

Calling all future Pharmacy Technicians…

If you’re ready to start your career in the health care field, you should add the MVROP Adult Pharmacy Technician Information Session for Thursday, June 18 or June 24 @ 12 - 3 p.m. to your schedule.

You can attend this session by registering on the program interest list by visiting mvrop.org or calling 510.657.1865.

To be eligible for registration you must attend an information session and complete prerequisite testing. Classes start in August.
