Fremont Adult and Continuing Education - FACE FUSD in Fremont, CA Fremont Adult School aka FACE.edu offers educational opportunities and services for the unique needs of lifelong learners in the Fremont, CA community.

Why Fremont Adult and Continuing Education (FACE)? We offer a wide variety of courses at low cost or NO cost to you. Our class times are flexible. Adult Basic Education (ABE) courses are individualized to meet your needs. Career Technical Education prepares students for new careers in banking, as well as helping students earn certifications in AutoCAD and Quickbooks. Citizenship courses prepare st

udents for the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services naturalization test. Our Community Education courses offer opportunities for enrichment. Distance Learning programs for ESL, GED® Test Preparation, and Parent Education offer learning opportunities at home for students who are unable to attend regular classes. English as a Second Language (ESL) courses help students to function in daily living situations and to prepare for higher education. We are an official GED® Testing Center, and we will prepare you for the GED test. We offer a variety of Health and Safety courses that promote physical fitness and safety. In addition, we offer a full range of courses towards earning your High School Diploma. Courses are available as teacher-directed classes and in the Independent Study program. Our Parent Education program empowers students to participate more fully in their children's development. Our Special Education program is designed to expand the vocational, academic, and independent living skills of adults who are developmentally disabled, emotionally and/or physically handicapped.

Congratulations to our amazing Office Specialist Nelly Thein who is F.A.C.E.’s Classified School Employee of the Year! She was also chosen as a finalist for the Alameda County Office of Education’s Classified Employee of the Year and will represent Alameda County at the State Level! Nelly currently works in our Mommy/Daddy & Me program and runs our GED testing lab. In her almost 25 years of service at F.A.C.E. she has supported every program. She is always willing to jump in and help! We are so thankful for all that Nelly does for our community!
