Our residents at Colonial Poplin and Poplin Way were delighted to welcome Fr. David Gagnon from St Joseph Church in Epping, New Hampshire as he led our very first Catholic Mass service in quite some time. It was a truly meaningful and long-awaited experience for our community, and we are incredibly grateful to Fr. Gagnon for bringing this special service back to our residents. Our extended care residents recently had the pleasure of participating in a guided painting class with Cindy from Arts Of Gold . The session provided a wonderful opportunity for creativity, self-expression, and meaningful engagement, as residents were supported step-by-step in creating their own unique pieces of art. It was truly special to see the joy, focus, and sense of accomplishment throughout the group.

Our residents also had the privilege of partnering with students and staff from the Ellis School during their Day of Service to bring new life to our community rock garden. 🎨🖌

Together, they refreshed existing stones and created new hand-painted rocks, adding color, creativity, and personal touches throughout the garden space. This activity not only enhanced the beauty of our outdoor areas but also fostered meaningful connections across generations.

We look forward to proudly displaying these creations throughout our community rock garden and are grateful for the shared moments and lasting impact they bring.

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming students and staff from the Ellis School in Fremont, New Hampshire, for their annual Day of Service. This meaningful intergenerational experience brought together our senior living community and the students through a variety of collaborative programs.

In this first glimpse of the day, students worked alongside our residents to plant a variety of seedlings. These will be nurtured in the school’s greenhouse before being returned to our community to be transplanted into our raised garden beds and planters. We look forward to continuing this partnership and watching these plants, and connections grow. 🌱

April is National Occupational Therapy Month, and we are proud to recognize the incredible impact our Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Aides have within our senior living community.

Through compassionate, individualized care, our OT team supports residents in maintaining independence, rebuilding daily living skills, and engaging in meaningful routines that enhance overall quality of life. From skilled nursing and rehabilitation to assisted living and long-term care, their work helps residents navigate each day with dignity, purpose, and confidence.

We are grateful for the dedication, creativity, and heart they bring to every interaction, making a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve.
