We're getting all of our fresh gourmet dried mushrooms and seasoning powders packaged back in stock just in time for your Thanksgiving and winter break holiday family feasts. If you've been patiently waiting, we anticipate having the website updated some time between 12pm-2pm. Tomorrow our dehydrated Morel, Shiitake, Oyster Mushroom Mix (variety of gold, pink, king blue, and elms), Black Pearl King, Lions Mane, Sprekled Chestnut, Butter Bolete, Reishi, and Turkey Tail full bodied mushrooms will be back in stock. In addition to that, The Capns Mushroom Seasoning will also be available for purchase. Seasoning is powdered Oyster Mushroom Mix, 100% fruiting body, no fillers. Great for pasta, eggs, stir fry, steak, burgers, soups, and anything else you like mushrooms with. We will have these with us at our farmer's market appearances as well. Happy holidays.

Today we had the pleasure of hosting magazine! They came out for a tour and to interview CAP and his crew. Look for us as the feature story in the December 2025 issue. Dont worry, we'll remind everyone 😅. It also just so happens we are also making more reishi dual extract here today too. The second picture shows one of our 5 extractors hard at work. For a size reference, the flask is holding 3L of solvent and that bottle is one gallon.

Hey everyone, we just wanted to let you know we've added 2 new mushrooms to the permanent lineup. We have added Black Pearl King Oyster and Velvet Pioppino to our regular inventory. We will have these plus many more at on Saturday, 10/4 from 830am-1130am.

Just as a reminder the Clovis Friday night market has shut down for the season so we will not longer be in Old Town on Friday nights. If you need anything you can come see us at a different farmers market, order off of our website www.thecapns.com, or come by our farm 1945 N. Fine Ave #107 Fresno CA 93727. We currently have the following in stock: King Blue Oyster, regular Blue Oyster, Elm (white) Oyster, Pink oyster, Black Pearl King Oyster, Chestnut, Pioppino, Lions Mane, and Maitake. We also grow but have sold out of this week's inventory already, White Enoki, Shiitake, and Golden Oyster Mushrooms. Our shiitake will be back in stock tomorrow, with the other 2 next week.

Are you a restaurant owner, Chef, or an all around mushroom lover? We offer weekly chef boxes like this one for any size or variety you'd like, at wholesale prices. We currently supply mushrooms to several well known restaurants and produce suppliers from Tulare to Fresno. The above box is approx 10 lbs of fresh mushrooms that were harvested today and includes Pink Oyster, Elm (white) Oyster, Blue Oyster, Velvet Pioppino, Maitake (hen of the woods), and Lions Mane mushrooms. In addition to these we also grow Sprekled Chestnut, Shiitake, Black Pearl King Oyster, Enoki, and Golden Oyster mushrooms.

Hey everyone, due to an unforseen emergency, we will not be attending the farmers market tonight. Our main electrical breaker started smoking as we loading up to go. PG&E came out promptly and fixed everything on their end, so we are currently without power awaiting an electrician to come repair the rest.

If you need mushrooms, we will be out tomorrow morning from 830am-1130am and Fort Washington farmers market on Sunday from 9am-1pm.

Only a few more Friday night farmers markets left this season . We have MAITAKE!!! Tonight we'll be out there with all of our normal products, at our usual locations, on Pollasky just South of 4th st by the dry creek museum. We have the best spot because we're right next to the band and the nut guy across from us has the best music before and after the band sets up. We'll be there from 5pm-830pm. See you soon!

Our coffee is back in stock!!!

We've had a lot of emails asking when our coffee will be back in stock. Sorry for the delay. We had to wait for the beans to get here so could roast them. Well, they delivered today so we stopped what we were doing and packaged a bunch of coffee for you guys! It's up on the website and ready to go! Thanks!

The situation currently in our fruiting room.

We'll have have these and all of the rest of your favorite fresh gourmet mushrooms, coffee, extracts, and other mushroom products out at tonight from 5pm-9pm. The weather is going to be nice and cool with a slight breeze this evening. Perfect time to come out and enjoy some local food, produce, and crafts with the family.

Plus, you can come on out and congratulate Grizzly on winning the slap fight championship by defeating UFC star Tim Sylvia (video coming soon) or challenge him to an arm wrestling match.
