Hey friend,
Recently, I reached out to a bunch of people asking what their BIGGEST STRUGGLE within relationships was?
And this is what they shared with me:
"I am afraid to speak to him."
"They do not want to talk about hard things. I feel like I am talking to a wall."
“I don't think he tells the truth. He doesn't even tell the counsellor everything.”
“Partner is unromantic and an introvert”
"I wished I had utilized more time with my dad before he passed away"
"He forgot Mother's day!”
“I’m stressed trying to figure out what isn’t working and how to fix it.”
"I don’t think our marriage is going to work, because in order for it to work, they have to put the time and effort in."
All of this can be summed up in one sentence.
Struggling to create a safe, judgement free space where both partners can comfortably be vulnerable.
Does this surprise anyone really?
No. We are ALL feeling the pinch. The impact of people's behaviors driven by their deep seated traumas, negatively impacting their most beloved relationships.
Therefore, I want to do something about it.
I want to create an emotionally safe space where you can start taking ACTION, instead of blaming and shaming, and letting the overwhelm take over you.
I have been debating over doing individual private sessions and/or group workshops as I had previously been doing, or creating a longer term, hybrid community which can serve more people on monthly basis.
I already have a 26 week Be Your Own Hero Project which has helped my clients work through four essential pillars of trauma healing:
1. Self Confidence - Feeling Good Enough
2. Emotional Safety - Feeling Safe Enough
3. Self-Worthiness - Feeling Worthy Enough
4. Self-Control - Being in Control
I want to incorporate this project with other numerous workshops that I have conducted in the past, to create a village that will offer an all in one support system to anyone who joins.
We know how long it REALLY takes to work through our traumas and PTSD. It's an ongoing process ...
Hence, this is what I want to do ...
I want to teach you how to:
1. Build confidence
2. Face the bully in your head
3. Identify, challenge and replace your triggers
4. Set boundaries
5. Communicate effectively, and
6. Manage intrusive thoughts and memories.
By repurposing all the trainings that I have already done, the community village will consist of monthly support groups, private coaching sessions, group workshops, in-person and virtual coffee meetups, full day and half day retreats, elite excursions, you name it, we can include it!
The idea is to create a PLETHORA of knowledge, a healer’s haven, a survivor’s best friend!
And I will do it if enough people say yes.
I am thinking $27 per month for the first 100 people who sign up...
