Restorative yoga is the gentle hug you give yourself. It’s the quiet invitation to slow down, soften, and be fully supported. With the help of props, your body can fully release into comfort, melting away tension, calming the nervous system, and creating space for true rest.

Sometimes the most powerful practice is the one where you simply allow yourself to pause, breathe, and receive.

We’re so happy to welcome a familiar face to the Four Corners Yoga teaching team - Crystal Uyeno, - longtime friend of the studio and co-founder of Rooted Heart Yoga, our sister yoga teacher training program, is officially joining the family. Crystal’s passion for yoga and heart-centered teaching has inspired so many in our community, and we can’t wait for you to experience her classes.

You can roll out your mat with Crystal regularly starting Thursdays at 4:30pm - All Level Flow - Low Heat, starting 8/21. (you can also catch her subbin Wednesday 8/20 @ 6pm)

"Hello, my name is Crystal. I began my yoga journey in 2014 after a long battle with anxiety and depression. Stepping onto my mat, I felt a profound reconnection between my mind, body, and soul, a moment that changed my life forever. From then on, l knew my purpose was to share the practices of yoga and mindfulness with as many people as possible, in the hope that the tools they discover on their mats will ripple into and enrich their everyday lives.

I am a wife, mom to two amazing kids, and dog mom to three lovable pups.

Professionally, I'm a 500-hour E-RYT, meditation teacher, and Pilates instructor with over 10 years of teaching experience in our local community. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, teach Pilates and yoga at Fresno State, co-own and lead Rooted Heart Yoga's 200-hour teacher training, serve on the board of a nonprofit, and contribute to the wellness committee at CUSD. My work is rooted in compassion, connection, and a deep belief in the transformative power of movement and mindfulness."
