Promesa Behavioral Health Non profit organization which provides residential treatment, foster care, adoption and substance abuse services primarily to at risk youth.

Promesa Behavioral Health has been a preeminent provider of efficient, effective multi-lingual, multi-cultural continuum of youth services and interventions in the Central Valley for over 22 years. We provide safe, sensitive and therapeutic environments for children in need through appropriate placements with trained, dedicated staff in partnership with social, health, judicial, and other appropriate community agencies. Our services include licensed therapeutic foster family services for males and females, chemical dependency counseling, psycho-education and tele-psychiatric services, level 12 residential treatment for females, males, juvenile sex offenders, and pregnant and parenting teens and their infants.

The reason we do what we do! It might not be immediate or obvious but the impact our staff has on our children’s comfort and success is worth every ounce of patience, effort and dependability. Navigating the system is difficult. Going through the system as a child, while you’re learning of the world as you go is unimaginable. We are proud to say we have staff who make the connection and commitment to the kids and we get to watch them thrive. Often sharing a lot of “firsts” while children are away from families. We aim to make this experience a great one for our children while they are with us, and memorable moments to cherish when they move on💕
