Community Regional Medical Center was well represented at the annual Farmworker Appreciation Day in Mendota, where our team helped train attendees on BE FAST, the key signs of stroke.

Raising awareness about stroke prevention and education is so important, and we’re proud to see team members making an impact beyond our hospital walls.

Yesterday, senior students from Washington Union High School’s CTE program showcased poster projects reflecting their hands-on experience shadowing our nurses and team members across multiple departments here at Community Regional Medical Center. 🏥

We’re honored to support the next generation and give these students a firsthand look at what it means to work in a hospital setting.

Leadership and team members came together for "Team Up to Clean Up", a campus beautification event that reflects the pride they take in where they work. A cleaner campus helps create a more welcoming, positive environment for everyone. 👏

The workshop supports students enrolled in Career Technical Education (CTE) and the Regional Occupational Program (ROP) through Fresno Unified School District.

We partner with CTE and ROP to provide hands-on mentoring across clinical and nonclinical departments. Thank you to all the students who participated! 👏

Another BIG win for our Neuro ICU team! 🎉🧠

Already 1 of just 4 hospitals in California to earn the Beacon Gold Award for exceptional critical care nursing, and now recognized with the 2025 Bronze Award for performance excellence from the CAPE Program.

These national recognitions reflect something bigger: a dedicated, multidisciplinary team delivering life-saving care to patients with complex neurologic and neurosurgical conditions every day.

10-year-old Grayson was airlifted to our hospital for a higher level of care after suffering critical injuries and multiple fractures. What followed was a long and challenging hospital stay, but also a powerful reminder of the little moments that help healing happen. 💙

One day, one of his nurses and a respiratory therapist noticed he was feeling down. Wanting to lift his spirits, they went above and beyond to do something special for him.

They took him on a quick trip to the helipad for some fresh air, sunshine and a change of view. It only lasted a few minutes… but it meant everything to Grayson and his family.

It may have seemed like a small gesture, but it made a big difference. Grayson came back smiling.

Last March, Joshua was riding through the Sierra Mountains when everything changed. A devastating motorcycle crash left him with a traumatic brain injury after being thrown from his bike. He was airlifted to our Level I Trauma Center, where his road to recovery began.

What followed were months of uncertainty, resilience, and an extraordinary fight to heal.

By December, Joshua’s journey had come full circle. After all he had overcome, he joined our team from the Leon S. Peters Rehabilitation Center as a special guest on their float in the downtown Fresno Christmas Parade.

He also shared his journey at our Trauma Survivor Reunion last year, continuing to inspire others facing their own recovery. We're so proud of Joshua!
