When Brianna and Andrew welcomed their son, Andres, into the world here at Community Regional Medical Center, they were filled with love — and concern. Baby Andres arrived earlier than expected and needed specialized care in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
As Hanford residents, the daily commute to Fresno to be with their newborn was going to be a challenge. But then, hospital staff mentioned Terry’s House — a "home away from home" just steps from our hospital.
For Brianna and Andrew, Terry’s House wasn’t just a place to sleep. It meant being close to baby Andres during his time in the NICU, without the stress of long drives. It meant staying together as a family when it mattered most.
Now, back home in Hanford, the Ramirez family is full of gratitude. Because of Terry’s House, all they had to focus on was loving their new little one.
