Food is such an important part of life, and for our individuals, learning how to prepare meals is a big step toward independence.

At LAC, we’re teaching food safety and knife skills (using training knives) while encouraging hands-on learning every step of the way. Whether it’s making a sandwich, flipping a burger, or baking something sweet, our individuals are building confidence and independence through the joy of cooking.
