This 30 million dollar center for medical education and research is an indicator representing the support from the University of California. The UCSF Fresno Center for Medical Education & Research is located on the Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) campus. Residencies and Fellowships:
General Surgery Residency (5 years, 5 positions offered)
Acute Care Surgery Fellowship (2 years, 2 positions offered)

Embracing Our Unique Journeys in the Central Valley 🌟
Welcome to our new teammate!

Dr. Araujo, originally from Brazil, has had an impressive career prior to joining Inspire Health Medical Group. Notably, he served as the Chief of Surgery at Adventist Health Ukiah Valley in Ukiah, California. In addition to this role, Dr. Araujo has supervised surgery residents and medical students in both clinical and surgical settings as an associate professor of surgery at the Western Michigan University School of Medicine in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

To further engage with the academic community, he has participated in research projects focused on anatomy, neuroimmunology, and plastic surgery.

Join the Intentional Recruitment Coalition in collaboration with the UCSF Fresno Department of Surgery, the largest surgical training program in the San Joaquin Valley for the 2025 Health Disparities Summit. This annual symposium is dedicated to advancing healthcare equity for disadvantaged populations affected by language barriers, socioeconomic disparities, cultural differences, and more. Through expert-led discussions and evidence-based strategies, this program will empower healthcare providers to bridge gaps in care and navigate complex health disparities. Participants are eligible to earn 3.5 hours of CME credit.
