💧 💧 June 23 is National Hydration Day — a timely reminder that staying hydrated isn’t just for athletes. It’s especially crucial for older adults, who may not always feel thirsty even when their bodies need water.
Dehydration in seniors can lead to confusion, UTIs, falls, and other serious health issues. Encourage your loved ones to sip water throughout the day, especially during warmer months. Let’s raise a glass (of water!) to better health.

Stay informed about the signs of financial exploitation, like sudden changes in accounts, estate planning documents, or unexplained withdrawals and spending. Keep open lines of communication with elderly family members regarding their financial matters. If you suspect an elderly person is being financially exploited, it's crucial to report it to local adult protective services, law enforcement, or their financial institutions. https://www.seniorcareauthority.com/locations/fresno/

It’s National Save Your Hearing Day
Some signs that your ears might need a check-up include hearing a ringing sound in your ears after noisy events, if noise physically hurts your ears, if you cannot hear what people nearby are saying, or if you need to raise your voice while talking to others. Whether you show signs of hearing loss or not, it is a good idea to get your hearing checked out by a physician.
