Over the holidays, our Hospice team had the honor of being part of a moment we will never forget.

With the family’s permission, we want to share a little piece of Rebecca’s story. Rebecca had a dream, to give her daughter and granddaughters one more memory they could hold onto forever. Our team helped her apply through the Dream Foundation, and her Dream was granted.

Rebecca’s family received a three-day trip to Disneyland, including a hotel stay. When we got to present the gift, there were hugs, tears, laughter, and a whole lot of love in the room. It was one of those moments that reminds you what hospice is really about, comfort, dignity, and meaningful connection.

A heartfelt thank you to for making this possible, and to our Hospice team for showing up with compassion every step of the way.

Rebecca, thank you for letting us witness something so beautiful. 🩵

What sets Compassionate Care apart? 🤔

Compassion is more than our name. It’s the way we support patients, walk alongside families, and communicate with honesty, clarity, and heart. From the first phone call to every visit after, we’re here to make care feel easier, safer, and more human.

Thank you for trusting us with your loved ones. 🩵

As we begin a new year, we pause with thankful hearts for another year of serving our community.

We’re grateful for the trust families place in us, the strength and resilience of our patients, and the dedication of our team who shows up every day with compassion and care.

Looking ahead, we remain committed to walking alongside more individuals and families, continuing to serve with purpose, empathy, and integrity in the year to come.

Thank you for being part of our journey and our community. 🩵

Closing out the year the way we know best, together. 🤍

Our annual Holiday Leadership Dinner brought together the directors and supervisors who help guide Compassionate Care every day. A night filled with connection, reflection, gratitude, and celebration of all that was accomplished this year, and all that’s ahead.

Many of our leaders worked their way up through the field, guided by fierce work ethic and a deep commitment to serving others. It’s about more than titles, it’s about character, trust, and striving for excellence.

Moments like this matter. They remind us that strong leadership is rooted in resilient relationships, shared values, and taking time to come together as one team. From celebrating wins to aligning on vision, this evening was a reflection of the culture we continue to build, one that feels supportive, intentional, and performance-based.

As we step into a new year, we’re grateful for the leaders who help carry our mission forward and for a team that continues to grow with heart, purpose, and care.

Here’s to the people behind the work, and to everything we’ll build together in the year ahead. ✨️

A look back at a year we’ll never forget. 🤍

This 2025 social media recap is more than just highlights, it’s a reflection of the people, moments, and purpose behind everything we do. From meaningful patient stories and community events to festive parades, holidays, and everyday acts of compassion, this year was filled with connection and heart.

To our incredible team, thank you for showing up, stepping in front of the camera, sharing your stories, and helping bring our mission to life beyond the field. Your willingness to participate, support one another, and represent Compassionate Care with authenticity truly makes an impact.

We’re also grateful to our community for continuing to trust us and support us. Being voted Gold for Best of Central California for the fourth year in a row is an honor we don’t take lightly, and a reminder that compassion, consistency, and care matter.

From parades and celebrations to quiet, meaningful moments that change lives, we’re proud of what we’ve built together. And we’re just getting started.

Thank you for being part of this journey. 🩵

Moments like this remind us why we do what we do 🤍

This photo was taken after a very special collaboration with the Dream Foundation, where we had the honor of helping make a hospice patient’s final wish come true, a meaningful trip to Disneyland with her daughter and granddaughters, all together, creating memories that will last forever.

We’re incredibly proud of our hospice care team and grateful for partners who help turn compassion into action. This was a powerful reminder that care goes far beyond medicine, it’s about love, presence, and honoring what matters most.

A full video sharing this beautiful story is coming soon. Stay tuned 💫

Every life we serve carries a story worth honoring. 🩵

Today, we’re honored to share the story of Warren Richard Cory, a man whose humor, heart, and legacy have left a lasting impression on everyone around him. ✨

I Am Compassionate

Name: Warren Richard Cory

Occupation: Glass Baker

Length of Care: 4 months

Why Hospice: I truly enjoy the care and communication, the timely visits, and the extra companionship I receive through Compassionate Care’s volunteer services.

Clinicians love me because: I’m basically a big panda bear and I roll around really easily in the bed! My humor lights up every room we walk into.

Random facts about me: For 42 years, I dedicated myself to my career as a glass baker at PPG on Peach and North, taking pride in my craftsmanship and the friendships I’ve built along the way. Even long after retiring, I kept strong connections, meeting my former coworkers once a month for breakfast every Wednesday, a tradition that meant a lot to me. I’m also a proud Vietnam War veteran and a passionate fisherman who once caught a 36-inch striped bass. I loved camping and adventuring in my RV. I am always ready with a smile, a story, or a laugh.

Warren reminds us that hospice care is about so much more than medical support. It’s about honoring a lifetime of work, service, laughter, and connection. We’re grateful to be part of his journey and to share in the moments that matter most.

Merry Christmas from Compassionate Care 🎄

Each year, our holiday card is hand-drawn by Shawn, a tradition that reflects the care, intention, and heart behind everything we do. These illustrations are more than artwork, they’re a reminder of warmth, home, and the love that surrounds our community during this season.

Today, we pause with deep gratitude for our patients, their families, our incredible team, and the communities we’re honored to serve across Central California. Thank you for trusting us to walk alongside you, especially during life’s most tender moments. Your stories, strength, and love continue to inspire us.

May this season bring comfort, connection, and peace, and may the year ahead be filled with hope and healing.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from our family to yours 🩵
