Dr. Kardashian in action for subcision and punch stitching. This procedure is recommended for those with deep acne scarring (icepick, boxcar, and rolling scars). Subcision works by going below the scar, and cutting the bands tethering the skin down, allowing them to “float to the surface”. With punch stitching, a piece of skin is lifted to the normal level of skin and is stitched into place.
