Last week, our residents had an absolute blast choosing a holiday craft to make with their General Manager, Desiree, all while sipping hot cocoa and enjoying some sweet treats.

The creativity was flowing, the laughter was nonstop, and everyone is already looking forward to what Desiree has planned for next month’s holiday craft! 🎄💫

One of our company’s core values is “Permission to Play,” and that’s exactly what we did today! Some might say hiking at 5am doesn’t sound like fun but what happened during the hike is where the magic truly happened.

A few of our Fairwinds team members, along with our family and friends, came together for a sunrise hike.

Doing something different and pushing ourselves outside of our comfort zone is not only good for the body, but for the mind as well. And when you get to share those moments with a team, it builds camaraderie and strengthens relationships in such a unique way. 💛

Today our Fairwinds crew rolled up their sleeves and spent the morning volunteering at the Poverello House! 💛 It was such a rewarding experience coming together to support an organization that gives so much to our community.

Poverello House enriches the lives and spirits of all who pass through by providing meals, social services, and temporary shelter partnering with agencies to better assist those in need. We’re grateful for the opportunity to lend a hand and make a difference!

Last but definitely not least, we’re celebrating Regina, our amazing Business Office Manager, who just hit an incredible 18 years with Fairwinds!

Talk about being a giver, this woman would literally give the shirt off her back to help someone in need. Regina is not only one of the pillars of our community but also a cornerstone in her own family. Her kindness, generosity, and dedication have all led her to where she is today.

Regina is one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet she makes everyone feel at home and is an absolute joy to be around. She’s also deeply devoted to her children and loves spending quality time with her family. ❤️

We’re so grateful for everything Regina brings to Fairwinds and for all that she does for those around her. Thank you, Regina, for your unwavering care, compassion, and commitment. We’re so proud of you and look forward to many more years working alongside you. Cheers to 18 wonderful years! 🥂

Next up, we’re celebrating Evan, our wonderful Guest Services Manager, who just hit his 14-year anniversary with Fairwinds!

Evan is one of those people you’ll never forget he has a quick wit and a sense of humor that keeps everyone smiling and laughing. He’s known for coming up with the perfect one-liners and quotes that seem to pop right out of his mind! We always tell him he missed his calling as a comedian because he’s truly one of the funniest guys you’ll ever meet.

But behind all the laughs is a huge heart. Evan is kind, generous, and always willing to help others. He also loves to tinker and fix things, whether it’s around the community or at home he can’t resist a good project!

Evan began his journey with Fairwinds as a Server, has worn many hats over the years, and now shines in his leadership role, where he continues to make a meaningful impact every day.

And perhaps most exciting of all, Evan is about to step into his newest and most rewarding role yet — fatherhood! We know he’ll be an amazing dad.

Evan, thank you for all that you do and for the laughter, heart, and dedication you bring to Fairwinds. Cheers to 14 incredible years! 🥂

Next up in our celebration of tenured team members is Mary, our amazing Health and Wellness Coordinator, who just celebrated her 14-year anniversary with Fairwinds!

Mary is truly one of a kind if you know her, you know the positive impact she makes on everyone around her. She’s the class clown of our team, always bringing laughter and light wherever she goes, and she absolutely loves what she does. Without hesitation, Mary is the first to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Outside of work, she’s a devoted mom to her two wonderful sons who keep her busy with sports, and she loves getting out of town for a little adventure. In her downtime, you’ll often find her curled up with a good book, as she’s an avid reader.

Mary, we appreciate everything you do and are so proud to have you on our team. Continue to shine your bright light — cheers to 14 amazing years! 🥂

We’re kicking off our celebration of tenured team members with Ri, who just recently hit her 10-year anniversary with Fairwinds!

Ri has truly grown with us over the years starting as a Server in the restaurant, moving to the Front Desk as a receptionist, then becoming a Resident Assistant in Health and Wellness, and now thriving as our Move-In Coordinator on the sales team.

One of Ri’s greatest strengths is her ability to adapt and stay consistent in everything she does not to mention her organizational skills that might just border on OCD tendencies (in the best way possible 😉).

Outside of work, Ri is a wonderful mother who loves spending time with her son.

We’re so proud of all she’s accomplished and can’t wait to see what the future holds. Cheers to 10 amazing years, Ri! 🥂

We hope everyone had a fun, safe, and HAPPY Halloween!

We had two incredible days of celebration at the community! The amount of community engagement during Thursdays Trunk r’ Treat was truly amazing. We are so thankful to not only those who came by to celebrate, but especially the ones who came to help pass out candy!

It wouldn’t be Halloween without some fantastic costumes! Our residents, staff, and guests all brought their A game this year on that front. Thank you to everyone for making it such a memorable Halloween! 🎃 👻 🧡

We’re so incredibly fortunate to have such wonderful professionals in the industry that have the knowledge and experience to help answer the many questions one may have when making the transition into a senior living community.
