On behalf of our dedicated team at the Fresno American Indian Health Project & those that we proudly serve, thank you for your generous support & guidance, California Department of Health Care Services! ❤️

🌟 Exciting news from the Central Valley!
The Fresno American Indian Health Project (FAIHP) celebrated the grand opening of its Native Wellness and Youth Services spaces with a ribbon-cutting and open house event. 🎀

This expansion—Phase 1 of a larger construction project—is made possible through the Behavioral Health Continuum Infrastructure Program (BHCIP) Round 4: Children and Youth. These new facilities are designed to better serve the mental health and wellness needs of Native youth and families in the Fresno area.

👏 Congratulations to FAIHP for this important step in strengthening culturally responsive behavioral health care.

Today's Ribbon Cutting & Open House: FAIHP Native Wellness & Youth Services event was the culmination of nearly three years of hard work; cherished support from our community, stakeholders, & local leaders; & a whole lot of heart! Our Fresno American Indian Health Project Native Wellness & Youth Services teams now have brand new homes to call their own & provide services at an enhanced level - & this is just the start with our 2nd & 3rd phases of construction to be completed in 2027! ❤️

This event was a beautiful celebration of not just this achievement, but the partnerships that made it possible! 🤍

We'd like to send very special thanks to Governor Newsom for his support of our project & award of the Behavioral Health Continuum Infrastructure Program (BHCIP) grant that made all phases of construction a reality! We were honored to be joined today by Mark Faucette on behalf of Advocates for Human Potential, Inc. - AHP, California Department of Health Care Services, & BHCIP whose leadership, support, & guidance on projects like ours has been absolutely paramount. 💛

We were also joined by key members of our community that help make the crucial services that we provide possible. From the dedicated members of our Board to Dr. Joaquin Arambula, the Fresno Chamber of Commerce, the Office of Council President Tyler Maxwell, & Mark Espinosa on behalf of Indian Health Service - your heartfelt words & presentations of support mean the world to us & those that we serve! 🖤

Also in attendance were the amazing teams behind the design & construction of these wonderful spaces, Victor R. Fabionar Architect, CV Design Interiors, & Zumwalt Construction! ❤️

Lastly, but certainly not least, to our dedicated staff that not only planned this event, but navigated through the long construction process, & do the work day in & day out to enrich the lives of our individuals, families, & youth served - THANK YOU. This Project would not be the beacon of support that is for our community without you! 🤍

Stay tuned for updates in the future regarding Phases 2 & 3 of our ongoing construction projects made possible by the BHCIP grant! 💛
