My word(s) for 2025: JOY & PRESENT💫 🧚 🌼

One of my favorite things to do at the end of a year/beginning of a new year is to come up with a word of the year. Sometimes I just instinctively know what it will be because of a theme in my life from the previous year and sometimes I have to set aside some time to think about it.

A word of the year is powerful goal setting tool; you can use it as a starting point to draft all of your other goals and then make sure your goals align with your word of the year.

If you haven't done so already, choose a word to focus on during the year to kick off your 2025 on the right foot🤍

It’s Monday, which means meal plan & grocery order day in our house🛒📝🍍

When I start working with clients, if I can tell they are struggling to consistently eat healthy meals, this is where I encourage them to start. Meal planning makes healthy eating so much more doable!

I love meal planning because:
- I know what I’m making ahead of time
- I have all the groceries I need on hand
- I only have to think about what I’m having that week once, when I’m meal planning
- It helps me stay on budget

Meal planning does not have to look the same for everyone. You can choose whether or not you plan out every meal, only plan for dinners, or just have a small list of meals or snacks on hand. The goal is to figure out which method works for you and your family💛

Hi! For those that are new around here, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself🤗

• My name is Jacy and I have been a Registered Dietitian for 5 years🥑
• I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have two sweet, wild, and fun boys!👱🏼‍♂️👦🏼👦🏼 I get to spend most of my time at home with them, but I also get to work some as well!
• I have worked in a hospital as a clinical dietitian for the past 5 years and I have also worked with clients as a nutrition coach for almost 4 years🏥🍊💻🤓
• Some of my hobbies include- reading, baking, exercising, watching a good TV series, and gardening🥖📚🌼
• I gave up caffeinated coffee almost 2 years ago and I will neverrrrr go back☕️ My drinks of choice are chai or matcha and every once in awhile I’ll get a decaf iced latte🍵🧋
• My go-to fun fact is that I was a tap dancer for 14 years💃🏼
