🎃 Halloween Safety Tips for Our Community
👻 Stay Visible
Wear bright costumes or add glow sticks & reflective tape so drivers can see you.
🧙♀️ Watch the Walkways
Use sidewalks & crosswalks. Avoid cutting across streets or between cars.
🍬 Check Treats First
Parents, inspect candy before kids eat it. No opened or suspicious packages.
🪄 Costume Safety
Choose costumes that do not drag and masks that do not block vision. Face paint is safer.
🚗 Drivers: Slow Down
Extra foot traffic tonight. Drive slow, stay alert, and avoid phone distractions.
🔥 Be Fire Smart
Keep costumes away from open flames, candles, and décor lights.
🐶 Pet Safety
Keep pets indoors. Costumes and crowds can stress them.
📱 Stay Connected
Kids trick-or-treating should stick together and keep phones charged.
🏠 Lights Mean Welcome
Homeowners, leave lights on if you are handing out candy.
No lights means trick-or-treaters should skip that house.
🎧 Volume Down
If wearing headphones (not recommended) or using a speaker for costumes, keep volume low to hear traffic.
