Lunch on us—Vineyards California Armenian Home style 🥗

Today’s Lunch On Us employee meal featured our signature CEO Salad, served by our President of the Board and CEO—a simple yet elevated dish that reflects who we are.

Fresh spinach and crisp lettuce, topped with lean chicken, creamy avocado, antioxidant-rich blueberries and strawberries, brain-healthy walnuts, and tangy goat cheese… every ingredient thoughtfully chosen, every bite intentional.

The CEO Salad isn’t just a menu item—it’s a philosophy. It represents balance, wellness, and the belief that nourishment fuels not only the body, but the care we give every day.

Culinary magic, led with heart 👨‍🍳✨

At the third-floor Grapevine Bistro, Chef Oskar hosted a special “What’s Cooking” demonstration.

Alongside him, Chef Steven—always a steady part of the team—helped bring the energy, creativity, and a little extra magic to the moment.

From shared techniques to shared laughter, it’s these experiences that reflect our commitment to extraordinary lifestyle, connection, and the simple joy of creating something together. 🍽️

Lunch is on us—and today it’s all about connection (and plenty of pasta 🍝).

From hearty beef Bolognese to creamy chicken Alfredo, a rich seafood Alfredo, and crisp green salads, our team enjoyed a delicious midday break together. More than just a meal, it’s a moment to pause, recharge, and connect across departments.

It’s traditions like our Tuesday and Thursday staff lunches that help strengthen relationships, build collaboration, and reinforce the culture of care that defines life at The Vineyards. When our team feels supported and connected, it naturally translates into the compassionate service and gracious hospitality our residents experience every day.

It’s just one of the many reasons our team has proudly recognized us as a Great Place to Work for the third year.

There’s something special about the impact of young hearts stepping into a place of care 💛

This school year, we had the privilege of welcoming students from Duncan High School’s healthcare class into our Skilled Nursing community—and what a difference they made. They showed up each day ready to learn, help, and connect.

But what stood out most wasn’t just what they did—it was how they did it. Always with enthusiasm, compassion, and a smile.

As they wrapped up their time with us, they surprised our team with heartfelt thank-you cards—simple gestures that meant so much and reflect the meaningful connections built along the way.

This is what “life in abundance ” looks like—mentorship, purpose, and generations coming together to learn from one another.

We are so grateful for these incredible students and wish them all the best on their journey ahead. 🌱

In the warm and elegant setting of the third floor Grapevine Bistro, residents gathered to hear District Attorney Lisa Smittcamp share valuable insights on fraud prevention and important elder-related topics that impact our community. The intimate atmosphere created the perfect space for open dialogue, thoughtful questions, and shared learning.

At The Vineyards California Armenian Home, moments like these reflect our commitment to lifelong learning, empowerment, and the safety and well-being of those we serve.

We are grateful for the partnership and leadership of the District Attorney’s office in helping keep our residents informed, protected, and connected.

Over two consecutive Sundays, our campus came together for live literary performances—featuring works like “Hello Out There” by William Saroyan—brought to life by talented local artists, including Mark Arax.

These moments matter.

They create space for reflection, connection, and shared emotion—where themes like redemption and the human experience resonate across generations and levels of care. With residents joining from across campus, these gatherings become more than performances—they become community in action.

They also gently connect us to the broader cultural fabric of our region, including ongoing efforts like the Armenian Heritage Museum and initiatives such as Measure P that support arts, culture, and community enrichment.

At The Vineyards, this is how we live our mission:

• Extraordinary lifestyle experiences that engage the mind and spirit
• Compassionate care that nurtures connection and meaning
• Gracious hospitality that welcomes creativity, culture, and community

This is life in abundance—where stories are shared, heritage is honored, and every moment has the opportunity to inspire.
