Pediatric primary care clinic located in Fresno, CA. We are a pediatric clinic servicing the health needs of children from birth to 21 years of age.

As a pediatric primary care office, we strive to provide a professional and welcoming environment for families.

👪 New patients and walk-ins are welcome. We give immunizations, health checks, sports physicals, circumcisions, and treat ailments from ADHD to flu. We have had over 35 years of experience providing health care to the children of the Central Valley. Dr. Allie Johnston, Dr. Orathai Sangr

ujiveth, Dr. New Sang are board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. They are joined by their full time Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, Jieun Kim, Heather Yates, Monica Daniels, and Kelly Hamel. School, sports, and well child physical exams, immunizations, blood and urine tests, vision and hearing screening, circumcisions. Sick visits and walk-ins are accepted. Screening for depression, anxiety, and adverse childhood events are given. Testing for strep throat, flu, RSV, and COVID-19 are available. All vaccines are available and recommended, including for COVID-19. Our Story:

Hoping to escape the bitter winters of Chicago, Dr. Orathai Sangrujiveth came to Fresno in 1985, where she set up an office across the street from Fresno Community Hospital. Word slowly leaked out about a new great pediatrician in town, and she was able to attract patients far and wide to downtown Fresno. She has been practicing pediatric medicine nonstop since then. Her three children eventually graduated from Clovis West High School, and dispersed off into many directions. The oldest one, New Sang, went from Los Angeles to Dublin, Ireland, to Honolulu, Hawaii, to the Garden Island of Kauai, and then back again to Fresno. Along his travels, he was able to pick up a degree for doctoring, and became a pediatrician like his mom. He decided to move back to Fresno to stay close to his parents, and raise his children in the family oriented culture of the Central Valley. Together, they form a pediatric clinic servicing the health needs of children from birth to 21 years of age. They give immunizations, health checks, sports physicals, circumcisions, and treat ailments from ADHD to the flu. They have had over 50 years of experience providing health care to the children of the Central Valley.

That’s right, we got our flu shot shipment in today, and we will be administering flu shots at all three of our locations. If you want one, we have it for Private and Medi-Cal patients. This year, we are going with a trivalent, preservative and egg free formula that doesn’t hurt as much and has much less side effects than other brands, so come and get yours from a pediatric practice you trust. Walk ins are welcome, but appointments are prioritized, so book an appointment today!

Hi Everyone! We want to clear up some confusion from yesterday's post about Children's Health Center at Downtown shutting down. WE ARE NOT SHUTTING DOWN, AND OUR DOWNTOWN LOCATION WILL STAY OPEN, PROBABLY FOREVER. Children's Health Center is a specialist group who accepts our patients' Blue Cross Medi-Cal insurance, and since they are shutting down, we are asking our patients to change to Calviva so that they can access specialty care at Valley Children's Hospital. We want all of our patients to be able to get a specialist in town, so if you have Blue Cross Medi-Cal, please switch to Calviva to maintain access to specialist care. You have until January 1, 2026, but don't wait! Do so soon, and we will see you when we see you!

Hi Everyone,

We have just been informed that Children’s Health Center in Downtown Fresno will close as of January 1, 2026. This means that if your child needs specialist care, those services will now be provided through Valley Children’s Hospital.

Who is affected:

- CalViva patients – You will not be affected. Your access to Valley Children’s Hospital will remain the same.

- Blue Cross Medi-Cal patients – To continue accessing Valley Children’s Hospital specialists, we recommend switching to CalViva.

How to switch from Blue Cross to CalViva:
1) Call Medi-Cal at 1-800-430-7077.
2) Ask to change from Blue Cross to HealthNet.
3) Get assigned to one of our providers at Sang Pediatrics.

Important: This change takes about one month to process, so please don’t wait until the last minute.

We are here to guide you through this transition. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our office—we’re happy to help.

Our Clinic

Hoping to escape the bitter winters of Chicago, Dr. Orathai Sangrujiveth came to Fresno in 1985, where she set up an office across the street from Fresno Community Hospital. Her three children eventually graduated from Clovis West High School, and dispersed off into many directions. The oldest one, New Sang, went from Los Angeles to Dublin, Ireland, to Honolulu, Hawaii, to the Garden Island of Kauai, and then back again to Fresno. Along his travels, he was able to pick up a degree for doctoring, and became a pediatrician like his mom. He decided to move back to Fresno to stay close to his parents, and raise his children in the family oriented culture of the Central Valley.

Together, they form a pediatric clinic servicing the health needs of children from birth to 21 years of age. They give immunizations, health checks, sports physicals, circumcisions, and treat ailments from ADHD to the flu. They have had over 40 years of experience providing health care to the children of the Central Valley. Dr. Orathai Sangrujiveth and Dr. New Sang are both board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Both doctors have admitting privileges at Community Regional Medical Center and Clovis Community Medical Center, where they see newborns.
