This is an optional skill-building tool; not a requirement for how someone ‘should’ socialize. This printable resource is designed to directly teach turn taking and how to ask follow-up questions in a structured, supportive way. We practice listening to a comment and thinking of a related “who, what, when, where, or why” question to keep the conversation going. It’s a fun, low-pressure way to build conversation skills for kids who benefit from more explicit instruction.

This is not designed to support compliance-based social training. Everyone has their own communication style, and that is more than okay. This resource is for individuals who want support learning how to ask follow-up questions and participate in back-and-forth exchanges with more confidence 💛

Toys don’t have to be expensive! One of our favorite places to buy toys is the Dollar Tree. They have so many fun toys and we don’t have to worry as much about pieces being broken or parts getting lost. Most of these were still in stores last time we checked! The ice cream was a MAJOR hit and is not sticky. The rolling part of the shopping cart fell apart immediately but the basket and food items are still in tact!
