This morning, our Culture Care Senior Living team had the honor of stopping by the Jamestown Police Department with farm-fresh donuts in recognition of National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.

This wasn’t about a delivery of sweet treats. It was about saying thank you.

Thank you for the long hours, the unseen sacrifices, and the commitment to keeping our communities safe. Thank you for showing up on the hardest days, making split-second decisions, and carrying responsibilities most never fully see. Thank you for protecting not just our neighborhoods, but the families, seniors, and staff we care for every single day.

At Culture Care Senior Living, community is one of our core pillars. We believe strong communities are built through partnership, respect, and appreciation for those who serve. Today was a small gesture, but it comes with a lot of gratitude behind it.

Today was one of those moments that reminds us exactly why we do this work.

We had the opportunity to sit down with Crown Street Roasting owner Mikayla Certo, alongside our Vice President of Community Outreach Zac Hnatyszyn and the incredible Activity Directors from Comfort Today, Memory Garden, The Magnolia, and Tanglewood Manor.

This wasn’t just a meeting. It was a coming together of people who care deeply about what they do.

We shared our “why’s.” We talked about seniors, about community, and about the power of strong teams working toward something bigger than themselves. Our Activity Directors are a massive heartbeat of our buildings, and bringing them to the table ensures that everything we create is intentional, meaningful, and rooted in real relationships with the people we serve.

Together, we began shaping plans to create real, lasting impact for seniors both inside and beyond our walls across Chautauqua County in 2026.

At Culture Care Senior Living, we believe change happens when mission-driven partners and passionate teams align. When people lead with heart, support one another, and stay focused on what truly matters, incredible things follow.

Moments like this build momentum. And momentum is how we strengthen our teams, lift our seniors, and make our communities better for all.

The Tanglewood Group is excited to announce that The Magnolia is now at the former location of the Frewsburg Rest Home.

When we purchased the Frewsburg Rest Home in 2014, we were honored to bring the Tanglewood Group’s strong reputation and high standards for senior living at its finest to Frewsburg, NY. Now, we are pleased to introduce The Magnolia to reflect the beautiful, Victorian bed and breakfast-like setting that we’re so proud of, and to bring a little southern hospitality to both current and future residents.

The Magnolia is a newly renovated Victorian bed-and-breakfast style home offering a quiet, scenic environment where residents can enjoy an activity-filled life with a touch of tranquility. The charming Victorian facility has greeted visitors entering the Village of Frewsburg for over 40 years, and the more rural setting is home to a spacious outdoor back lot with walking paths for those in search of a more peaceful setting. A complete renovation in 2014 brought with it a modern facelift with upgraded resident rooms and accommodations that added a touch of elegance and luxury to the old country home. The country setting makes for a family-style environment with a comfortable, neighborhood feel well-suited for the close-knit community of residents and staff.
