She specializes in Holistic Women’s Health though Namikoshi and Anma Shiatsu. She is also licensed to provide a full range of Shiatsu treatments to identify and treat a spectrum of ailments. She has pursued and practiced holistic treatment for over a decade and is committed to the well-being of her community.

She studied at CenterPoint School and Clinic of Shiatsu Therapy of Minneapolis, MN. Her primary and continued training and certification was guided by Master Shiatsu Therapist, Cari Johnson Pelava, B.A., C.I. Her practice is a combination of Namikoshi Shiatsu and Anma Shiatsu
Namikoshi Shiatsu (the official shiatsu of Japan). It is applied with the thumbs, fingers, and palms; and is entirely based in modern anatomy and physiology. Through the application of pressure to specific points along the body, Namikoshi Shiatsu directly affects the nervous system, which in turn affects the internal physiological systems of the body. Founder Tokujiro Namikoshi discovered a mechanism through which touch applied to the surface of the body reflexes to the internal organs, thereby releasing blockages and evoking the body’s own healing power.

Anma Shiatsu uniquely combines two of the most popular forms of Japanese Bodywork Therapy: Anma (“to soothe with the hands”) and Shiatsu (“finger pressure”). The techniques of Shiatsu Anma, as developed by Dr. DoAnn Kaneko, influence the flow of "Qi" in the body and include kneading, stretching, soothing, tapping, pressing, and "Ampuku" (abdominal massage). Her mastery of these two techniques provides a balanced combination of modern and traditional practices.
