We had a 🐾 paw-some time making no-sew snuggle blankets for our furry friends at the Animal Humane Society today! 🐈‍⬛️ 🐕 Our residents also enjoyed good company, cheerful conversation, and cute animal videos while crafting for a good cause! 😻 🐶 🐈 🐩 🐇

🏫 ✏️ Back to School...the Fun Way! 🍎📕
Today we went back in time for our School Days Social Hour! 😊 Our residents enjoyed brown bag lunches while participating cooperatively in general knowledge pop quizzes, mental math problems, taking "yearbook" photos, and learning about the most popular Spring Break 2025 destinations! We laughed, learned, and reminisced together-just like old classmates! ❤️ 🎓

🎡 🎲 🐎 Step right up-it's State Fair Week at The Estates at Fridley! We brought the Midway magic 🪄 indoors with the games horse racing, grab bag dice, and Co****le! 🌽 We finished off the fun by serving up our blue ribbon homemade pies! 😋 🥧 😊

In honor of State Fair Week, our residents rolled up their sleeves to create two delicious 😋 no-bake pies: Cherry Cheesecake and Oreo Cookies & Cream! ❤️ 🍪 🍒 Both were so tasty, we awarded BOTH a blue ribbon! 🏆🥇😊

Today we celebrated the Great Minnesota Get-Together with a special Fairgrounds Social Hour! On the menu-Spam on a stick, pickle plates, mini donuts, and strawberry pineapple 🍓 🍍 punch! 😋 🍷 We learned about the history of the state fair, reminisced about our favorite fair memories, explored the new foods offered this year, and had fun with a carnival photo booth! 📷 😃 😊

Our Activity Connection monthly Armchair Travelogue adventure took us to Kansas today! 🌻 ✈️ We explored the Sunflower State's rich history, fun trivia, famous sights, and local cuisine! We had great conversation while jotting notes in our travel "passports" and enjoying chili with a unique Kansas twist-served with cinnamon rolls on the side! 😋 😊

This week was dedicated to celebrating the legendary life of the King of Rock n Roll, Elvis Presley! 🎶 🎸 We shook our activities up with rockin' tattoos, a Rendever virtual trip back in time to the 50's, Elvis collage art, Rock Around the Clock ⏰️ dice game, Hound Dog sandwiches [peanut butter 🥜 and banana 🍌 on hot dog buns] and his favorite soda-Pepsi Cola for movie refreshments!
