We couldn't help falling in love 🥰 with our Elvis birthday celebration! 🎶🎸 We played trivia Q&A and a Rock Around the Clock ⏰️ dice game. We enjoyed surely Elvis-approved treats-frozen peanut butter bananas, banana cake with peanut butter ice cream, King's Hawaiian rolls, and his favorite soda, Pepsi Cola! Our residents had a rockin' good time! 😀

We had a day full of holiday fun! 🥳 This morning we played a special "Christmas Punch Out" game, where residents tested their aim by shooting Nerf darts at covered cups, and punching out prizes that brought lots of smiles and laughter! 😃 This afternoon our monthly Activity Connection armchair travelogue took us south of the border for "Christmas in Mexico!" 🇲🇽 🎄 🪅 Residents and family members enjoyed cinnamon cake, eggnog, chips, salsa and queso fresco while learning, discussing and reminiscing together. ❤️ 😊

Our final day of Spirit Week is Christmas Spirit Day and ! Homemade breakfast was provided for staff, staff and residents dressed in festive attire, our residents had a wonderful time singing morning Christmas music jams 🎶, and finally opening their gifts at our annual holiday party this afternoon! A most heartfelt 🥰 thanks to the Angels at Granny's Closet - MN for donating gifts from our residents' wish lists!

We kicked off Spirit Week with a cozy pajama day for staff, complete with hot cocoa and candy canes. 🤗 Our residents learned about the Story of Hanukkah while sampling symbolic foods, and had fun creating gingerbread house art together. ❤️
