✨What you saw ✨….😵‍💫versus what it really looked like 😵‍💫

Thanks to all who attended our VERY impromptu, trial, last minute virtual class tonight! It was so great to still be able to spend time in community, even if Mother Nature had other plans for us!

Little did you know that right before class I was having a heck of a time finding my ring light stand, my phone was at 12% battery (because why would I have a charged phone) and throughout the entire class there was a yellow lab head butting the door wanting to join us!
But this is the baggage we bring to practice. We all bring it. Things weighing on our minds and hearts. The stress of work, family, home lives. The anxious, frenzied rush to get to class on time! The mat you can’t find as you’re racing out the door! Your gas light that is always on whenever you’re running late! And who keeps moving your car keys!?!?!….And then you sink into your mat and allow yourself to be held, and all that worry, stress and anxiety melts away.

This is what yoga does for us. It reminds us to be here, now. Your only job is to breath.

Thanks again to all who were able to attend! It was great to still get to practice together from our homes, even if it was through Google Meets (Where are my 2020 teacher at? I’m still not fully recovered from that! 😳😬🫣) But I am grateful for the ability to come together even from afar!
