In recognition of Memorial Day, our clinics, pharmacy and eye clinic are closed today. Urgent care (located in the hospital's emergency department) will be open extended hours, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. We wish you a safe and memorable holiday.

Last week, Carrie Easterly, RN, was honored to attend the graduation of the six high school students who completed the Health Career Academy! 🎓🩺

This innovative program is a collaborative effort between Adams‑Friendship High School, Mid‑State Technical College, and Emplify Health by Gundersen Friendship Hospital, designed to give students a head start in healthcare careers.

Before enrolling, students toured our hospital to explore healthcare careers. Through the academy, they completed two courses and job‑shadowed in multiple hospital departments, gaining hands‑on experience and valuable insight into healthcare professions. Job shadows were coordinated by Carrie Easterly, RN, quality specialist, at our hospital.

A check totaling $280 was recently presented to the Adams County Foster Care Program! 💙

These funds were raised during Child Abuse Prevention Month through a series of employee casual dress days and a coffee truck day at our hospital with Rustic Road Coffee donating 10% of their sales that day. Thank you to the generosity of our staff and community supporters.

The Adams County Foster Care Program serves an average of 40–50 children each year. Funds raised will help provide gift cards for foster parents and relatives who take children on short notice—assisting with groceries, gas, or family activities—and activity kits to help keep young children occupied during foster care meetings.
Thank you to everyone who helped support this meaningful cause and make a difference for local children and families!

Our Moundview Memorial Healthcare Foundation recently awarded $7,400 in scholarships to graduating seniors from Adams‑Friendship and Westfield High Schools who are pursuing careers in healthcare.

Scholarships were presented to Adams‑Friendship students by Aaron Bonnett, Foundation Director, and to Westfield students by Danielle Soley, NP, Westfield Clinic.

Congratulations to our Adams‑Friendship seniors! Laila Bork, Alyssa Arellano, Katie Jackson, Makena Kirsenlohr, Caitlyn McManus, and Ellie Schwabe.

We recently welcomed 8th graders from Westfield and Adams‑Friendship for a Healthcare Career Exploration Day!

Students enjoyed a day filled with hands-on activities including a Nurse Sassy Skit focused on professionalism, lab activities like blood typing and microscope use, lessons on hand hygiene, rehab balance challenges, an imaging department presentation showing various X‑rays, and a presentation on the many careers in healthcare.

Thank you to our Nutrition Services team for providing lunch and to our staff who made this day informative and fun! 🩺💙

Does your child need care for a chronic condition (like ADHD, allergies and asthma), have a minor illness (ear pain, sore throat, stomach aches), need non-emergent mental health care or a well-child visit (including sports physicals)?

Our Pediatric Mobile Clinic is a clinic on wheels, bringing quality healthcare directly to your child at convenient locations in your community, like schools or the county health department.

If your child has a regular primary care provider, we will work alongside them to ensure seamless care.

We accept many insurance plans, including private insurance, BadgerCare Plus and recently added Security Health.

Appointments are available for all children 18 years and under, on most days from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Same day appointments are welcome, based on availability.

When making an appointment on a day the clinic is located at the schools and your child is attending school, they may leave class for their appointment.
