Local LOVING Local—because this fight is bigger than just my business. 🤪💚💪🏼
I watched a video of another woman-owned Texas business talking about how she still owes rent—even if she’s forced to close—and I felt that in my bones. That kind of weight? I know it too well.
We are the middle-class.
The rule-followers.
The tax-payers.
We’ve poured our savings, our energy, and our purpose into building something that serves our communities.
We got licensed. Insured. Inspected.
We played by the rules.
And now, somehow, we’re being priced out of our own future?
Meanwhile, during COVID, Texas gave a green light to alcohol delivery. 🍹
Bars adapted. Restaurants thrived. “Cocktails-to-go” became the new normal.
Intoxication? That’s fine.
But green plant wellness recommended by doctors across the country? Suddenly, that’s controversial? 🤔
It’s giving… 2020 déjà vu.
Big box stores stayed open.
Amazon got bigger.
And the small businesses—the ones without legal teams or million-dollar lobbyists—were left scrambling.
Here we are again.
Punished for doing it the right way.
So let me be clear:
💬 This isn’t about whether you like cannabis.
💬 This is about freedom.
💬 This is about fairness.
💬 This is about real people—like me—who built something from scratch and deserve the right to keep fighting for it.
Because we are not the problem.
We are your neighbors, your teachers, your skaters, your sisters, your friends.
And we are still here.
📍 We’re local.
🧾 We’re legit.
✊🏽 And we’re not backing down.
