Struggling with shoulder pain that won’t go away? Trouble lifting your arm, reaching overhead, or sleeping on your side could be signs of shoulder arthritis even if you haven’t been formally diagnosed yet.

This condition develops gradually and can start with stiffness, weakness, or discomfort that builds over time. If daily tasks are becoming more difficult or if conservative treatments like rest, medications, or injections no longer help, it may be time to consider a more permanent solution.

Shoulder replacement surgery is designed to relieve pain and restore movement in patients with advanced arthritis. At OINT, our surgeons use precise imaging and modern implants to tailor the procedure to each individual so you get the best possible outcome.

Recovery is carefully guided through physical therapy and follow-up care. Most patients regain strength and motion over time, and many return to the activities they once avoided due to pain.

Not sure what’s causing your shoulder pain? We are here to evaluate, explain your options, and help you feel confident in your next step.

Recovering from Total Talus Replacement Surgery is a journey focused on restoring mobility, relieving pain, and helping you return to a more active life.

Unlike ankle fusion, which limits movement, this procedure allows for greater joint flexibility and a more natural walking pattern. For patients with severe talus damage, the difference can be life changing.

Recovery starts with a short period of non-weight bearing, followed by guided physical therapy to help you regain strength, motion, and stability. Most patients gradually return to daily activities within a few months and continue to improve over time.

While every recovery looks different, our team is here to support you through each step. The goal is not just healing, it is getting you back to living fully.

The talus is one of the key bones in the ankle, supporting weight and allowing smooth motion between your leg and foot. When this bone is severely damaged due to trauma, arthritis, or collapse, walking can become painful and mobility may be limited.

Total Talus Replacement is a specialized surgery that replaces the damaged talus bone with a custom-designed implant. At OINT, this procedure is carefully planned using advanced imaging to ensure the implant restores alignment, stability, and joint movement.

Unlike ankle fusion, which restricts motion, talus replacement preserves the natural movement of the joint. That means patients often experience better long-term comfort, improved mobility, and a more natural walking pattern.

This procedure is typically considered for patients with avascular necrosis of the talus, advanced arthritis, or severe post-traumatic deformity. It is especially valuable for those who want to avoid fusion and maintain an active lifestyle.

If you have been told your ankle joint is beyond repair, this may be the solution that gets you back on your feet with strength and confidence.

Conservative treatments like physical therapy, rest, or bracing are often the first steps in managing orthopedic conditions. But when those options no longer provide relief, it may be time to consider reconstruction.

Reconstructive surgery is designed to restore movement, correct deformity, and reduce long-term pain. It’s often recommended when joint damage, instability, or chronic issues begin to limit your quality of life.
At OINT, we evaluate every case individually to determine whether surgery is the right next step, and we guide you through what to expect at every stage of the process.

Not every injury or condition requires surgery. In fact, physical therapy is often the first step toward recovery, and for many patients, it’s also the last.

At OINT, our team prioritizes conservative treatment when possible. Physical therapy plays a key role in helping patients improve strength, mobility, balance, and joint function without the need for invasive procedures. It’s especially effective for conditions like mild arthritis, tendonitis, overuse injuries, and post-injury rehabilitation.

But physical therapy isn’t always the right solution on its own. If symptoms continue to interfere with your daily life despite a full course of PT, it may be time to explore surgical options. Surgery is often recommended for structural damage such as complete tendon or ligament tears, chronic joint instability, or deformities that cannot be corrected through movement and rehab alone.

Our goal is always to find the most effective treatment plan for your condition, one that balances long-term results with your personal recovery goals. Whether that means physical therapy, surgery, or a combination of both, we’re here to guide you through every step.

Not sure where you stand? Start with a consultation. We'll help you determine the best path forward based on your imaging, symptoms, and overall health.

Foot deformities and post-traumatic injuries can make every step painful. When conservative treatments like orthotics, braces, or physical therapy no longer provide relief, complex foot reconstruction may be the right next step.

At OINT, we perform reconstructive surgery to correct conditions such as flatfoot, arthritis, tendon dysfunction, and complications from previous injuries or fractures. These procedures are tailored to restore the alignment, structure, and stability of your foot, helping you walk comfortably again.

For many patients, foot reconstruction is about more than pain relief. It’s about restoring balance, correcting long-term damage, and regaining the ability to live and move with confidence. Our goal is not just to treat the problem, but to help you return to an active, independent lifestyle.

Recovery after foot reconstruction takes time, but with guided physical therapy and close follow-up care, most patients see dramatic improvements in mobility and function. We’ll work with you to build a treatment plan that fits your goals and pace of healing.

If foot pain or deformity is affecting your quality of life, now is the time to get answers. Schedule your consultation at oint.org or call 972-591-6468.

Persistent ankle pain can make everyday movement feel like a challenge. When rest, physical therapy, or injections aren’t enough, ankle arthroscopy may be the next step.

Ankle arthroscopy is a minimally invasive procedure that uses small incisions and a tiny camera to diagnose and treat conditions inside the ankle joint. It’s commonly used to remove loose bone or cartilage, treat impingement, or clear out inflamed tissue that’s causing pain and stiffness.

Because the procedure is less invasive than traditional open surgery, recovery is often faster, with smaller incisions, less tissue disruption, and lower risk of complications.

Most patients go home the same day and start moving again within a few days. Physical therapy follows to help restore strength, balance, and range of motion.

If you’ve been living with ankle pain that’s not improving, our team can help you understand your options and find the right path forward.

➡ What is the Achilles tendon and why is it important?
The Achilles tendon connects your calf muscles to your heel bone and is essential for walking, running, and jumping. It’s the largest tendon in the body and absorbs a lot of stress during movement.

➡ How does an Achilles tendon rupture happen?
Ruptures often occur during sudden, forceful movements like jumping or sprinting. Many patients describe hearing a pop and feeling as if they were kicked in the back of the leg.

➡ Are there different types of ruptures?
Yes. Most tears occur in the mid-substance of the tendon (not directly at the heel or calf), and complete ruptures require a different approach than partial tears.

➡ When is surgery needed?
Surgical repair is usually recommended for complete ruptures, especially in patients who are active or want the best chance at regaining full strength and function.

➡ What are the benefits of surgery?
Surgery lowers the chance of re-rupture and often leads to better long-term strength and flexibility. It also allows for earlier rehab protocols compared to non-operative care.

➡ What is recovery like after surgery?
Patients are typically placed in a splint right after surgery, followed by a walking boot and a progressive physical therapy plan. Recovery can take up to a year, but many patients return to their previous activity level.

If you’ve recently injured your Achilles or are unsure whether surgery is right for you, we’re here to help you make the most informed decision possible.

Minimally invasive bunion surgery is designed to get you back on your feet faster, with fewer complications and lasting results.

Most patients are able to walk the same day of surgery and recover with significantly less pain and swelling compared to traditional procedures. By six weeks, many return to regular shoes, and by three months, most resume full activity. Because the incisions are small and soft tissues are preserved, the healing process is smoother and the risk of stiffness is reduced.

As with any surgery, there are risks, including infection, nerve irritation, or the possibility of recurrence. However, these are less common with minimally invasive techniques when post-op instructions are followed closely.

Long term, patients typically experience strong correction, improved function, and minimal visible scarring. The goal is a real return to comfort, mobility, and daily life without pain.

Considering bunion correction? At OINT, we want every patient to feel informed and confident before surgery. Here's what to know as you take your next step.

We begin with a comprehensive evaluation to determine if you're a candidate. This includes imaging, reviewing your health history, and understanding the severity of your bunion. If you're a good fit for the minimally invasive approach, our team will walk you through the full preparation process. From what to expect on the day of surgery to how to set up your recovery space at home, you're supported from start to finish.

The procedure uses small incisions and specialized tools guided by live imaging, allowing us to correct the bunion with less trauma to surrounding tissue. That means less pain, smaller scars, and a quicker return to daily activity.

Whether you're just starting your research or ready to move forward, we're here to help you make informed, confident decisions about your foot health.
