It's a safe and natural therapy, making it very popular among those who have grown tired of other therapeutic methods that may only mask symptons or make them worse. Treatments are completely safe, pain free and surprisingly comfortable! The cryosauna will expose your skin to temperatures below zero degrees Fahrenheit for 3 minutes or less. Your skin temperature will initially drop to 32 degrees before rising to 95 degrees for 30-45 seconds (normal skin temperature is 90.5 degrees) and then goes down to normal. Exposing your body to the cold temperatures of a cryosauna will stimulate the natural responses of your body, resulting in significant benefits; such as reduction of inflammation, and swelling. Not only is your immune system stimulated, but every organ in your body is affected positively. The extreme cold exposure causes the body to turn up its metabolic rate in order to produce heat. This effect lasts hours after the procedure, causing the body to burn around 500+ calories. The cold air activates an increased production of collagen in deeper layers of your skin, causing your skin to become smoother and more even-toned, regaining elasticity and significantly improving the overall condition of your skin. Skin vessels and capillaries undergo severe vasoconstriction (to keep the core temperature from dropping), followed by vasodilation after the procedure. Toxins and other stored deposits are flushed out of the layers of the skin and blood perfusion is improved after several treatments. Think of a Cryosauna as a trigger that releases your body's own natural nutrients.
