Everything about this is so true!!!
Let’s get something straight…
This industry doesn’t need more kids chasing TikTok trends, it needs more kids learning the fundamentals. Winning doesn’t come from the 13th supplement, the newest comb on the market, or a five-figure animal. It comes from doing the actual work that matters.
A champion project starts with a feed plan built for the needs of your animal—not switching rations every other week because someone on Facebook said it worked for them. It comes from tracking intake, consistency, and accuracy.
It comes from breaking your animal right — not dragging one to a jackpot half-broke hoping it “learns in the ring.” Teaching them to walk, set up, and stand calm under pressure takes time and patience, not brute force.
It comes from building trust. Rinsing, blowing, walking, tying up, working them until they know your hand, your voice, your expectations. Winners don’t treat their project like a prop — they put in the hours to build trust so that animal shows like an extension of their own body.
And it comes from refusing to cut corners — because at the end of the day, a coat of paint and a $200 pair of tennis shoes can’t cover up poor fundamentals.
This game doesn’t reward shortcuts.
It exposes them.
So if you think you can buy the trend, skip the basics, and fool anybody—think again. Frills fade. A good foundation wins. Period.
