The final performance of Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre's 2025 season was Million Dollar Quartet, and it was truly spectacular! 🎭

Our residents thought it may have been the best of any of the shows they have ever seen.

The show tied perfectly with our and Signature Programs theme this month, Vintage Music & Radio Shows, as it featured the story of Carl Perkins, Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Johnny Cash.

After the show, we wrapped up the day with a wonderful meal at Roma Casual Italian & Greek Dining. 😋🥗

For our Signature Program, we teamed up to make delicious apple and pear donuts! 🍩🍐

We had so much fun creating this yummy snack, and the real treat was enjoying every bite together during happy hour on the porch, soaking in the gorgeous day. 😋

The Warren County Fair finally arrived, and we couldn't have been more excited! 🎡

Our amazing Resident Program Assistant, Brandi, along with our talented residents, spent the past year crafting masterpieces to take to the fair and we proudly brought home several ribbons. 🎖️

Senior Day at the fair is always a highlight. We loved visiting the 4-H kids and petting the animals they brought with them and we even learned how to hypnotize a chicken.

We're already counting down the days until next year! ☺️

We wrapped up our Vintage Maritime Port of Call theme with a splash at our Family Crab Fest! 🦀🌊

Bubbles filled the air as mermaids, manatees, residents, and their families dove into the fun.

Pat, our Dining Services Director, and her awesome team served up shrimp, crab cakes, hush puppies, and fresh blue crabs from the coast—brought in by our Executive Director, Andrea.

What a day to remember! 🏖️

As part of our Vintage Maritime Port of Call theme, we set course for the National Museum of the Marine Corps — and what a voyage it was! 🛳️

The stunning architecture alone was worth the trip, but the exhibits truly stole the show.

We explored the WWII gallery, complete with incredibly lifelike mannequins, each cast from real Marines. We were even lucky enough to meet one of the models in person! A highlight of the day was seeing the actual flag from Iwo Jima. 🫡

After a hearty lunch at the tavern, we returned home — already planning our next visit! 🔜

It was a perfect morning to dip our toes, sit in, or swim in the water. The sun was warm and the water was perfect! 🏊🌞

Each of our residents were spending the day exactly how they wanted. Bob enjoyed floating around while Pete and Ginny got some laps in. Ginny was a former lifeguard so she was excited to teach the kids how to swim.

After enjoying our refreshing time in the pool, we had a picnic lunch that topped off our morning. It was perfect timing all around! 👏

A few members from our Sweet Memories neighborhood took a trip out to the beautiful Rockland Garden. 🌷🌼

The pond fountain trickling was so soothing and really allowed us to explore and meditate! ✨

Summer means baseball is back! ⚾ ☀️

We spent a beautiful evening at Bing Crosby Stadium cheering on the Front Royal Cardinals!

Several of our residents are former ballplayers themselves, and for Darlene, it was extra special — her very first baseball game and a bucket list experience.

Thank you to the Cardinals for such a fun and unforgettable night. 🤩

We're still thinking about the doorhangers we created for the Fourth of July! 🎉🚪

It was a great time for socializing, while each of us worked on our project, and at the end, we had a patriotic display for our doors.

We’ve been counting down the days for the Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre season to start — and the wait was worth it! 🎭🎫

The first show, "Singing in the Rain", was a hit and earned two thumbs up from our whole group. After the show, we enjoyed a delicious supper at Roma Casual Italian & Greek Dining.

A perfect night of entertainment, great food, and our Signature Program — we’re already excited for the next performance! 🤩

We're still thinking about our Fourth of July celebration that packed with fun, food, and fireworks! 🎆 🤩

We kicked things off with a picnic featuring all of our summer favorites: hotdogs, hamburgers, coleslaw, potato salad, and pasta salad.

Then, we had birthday cake to celebrate our July birthdays and, of course, America's birthday!

As the evening went on, we enjoyed some popsicles outside while watching a gorgeous fireworks display, thanks to our amazing Executive Director, Rena, and her family. 💙
