As of September 30th, Family Pharmacy is under new ownership. I did not make this decision lightly. Most of you are used to seeing me in the pharmacy from open to close 6 days a week, 52 weeks a year. The administrative responsibilities of operating a pharmacy this size are enormous. Consequently, those hours were just part of the time I spent there.
Fewer of you know that I have a wife and a three and a half year old daughter. This change in ownership will allow me the opportunity to focus on my family, and give us the time together that we deserve.
AzendPharma, a pharmacy investment/management group, has taken over, keeping the last independent pharmacy in Warren County open. I will still be working as a pharmacist, and the rest of the staff will remain the same.
Please be patient as we make this transition as there will inevitably be challenges ahead.
On a somewhat related note, in addition to the latest hurricane, which has led to some supply chain disruptions, we are being warned that East Coast port closures may also cause disruptions. But we will work through this as always.
