Full steam ahead at the Coalition! We went right from Warren County Unplugged Presented by Warren Coalition to planning upcoming events and programs, from a video contest to "Feud Time" to young adult survey work to our annual fundraiser, Let's Get Cheesy! 🤪🤣But before we get TOO distracted, we wanted to post some more photos from this past weekend. This round is from Saturday, which featured Habitat for Humanity's Backyard Games at the Gazebo, On Cue's Viva Unplugged, and many opportunities for hiking, shopping, and exploring! The Youth Unplugged Party was so much fun! On the elementary school side, it was heart-warming to see parents and kids enjoy some quality phone-free time together. And on the middle school and high school side, the kids were having all kinds of fun, no phones in sight! We had a great turnout too! Thank you to everyone who helped make it possible, especially County Parks and Recreation and Young Life Warren County!

What a humbling occurrence, that we had SO much community support for this weekend's unplugging events, we couldn't even tag everyone in one post! Thank you all for putting so much love into our community and demonstrating that every person matters!

Here's some information about the Friday events scheduled for Warren County Unplugged Presented by Warren Coalition!

Youth Unplugged Party with Warren Coalition, Warren County Parks and Recreation, Young Life Warren County, Scouting America, Play Favorites, and Warren County Virginia Sheriff's Office.
465 W 15th Street, Front Royal

5:30 pm–All grade levels (and family members) meet up at the 15th Street Gym for the Youth Unplugged Party! The first 200 people will receive a slice of free pizza (courtesy of Warren County Parks & Recreation)! Limit one slice per person; other concessions will be available for sale after the free pizza is gone.

6:00 pm–Ceremonial “turn off the phones” moment with a countdown and celebration! Ages 12-18 will remain in the gym for volleyball, 9-square, friendship bracelet making, basketball, a scavenger hunt, a gaga pit, and other activities! Meanwhile ages 4-11 and their parents will head to the Senior Center (accessible through the gym) for Bingo, the Quiet Game, games, and crafts! Learn more.

For the young at heart, come out and try the craziest form of bowling ever invented–it looks like a combination of pinball and bowling! For once, you may WANT to hit the sides to increase your score, but watch out for the red sections!
