We know the need for shelter in our area is tremendous. This will be an incredible resource!

Our neighbors don’t just deserve to survive the night; they deserve to truly rest.

When the bitter cold hit in January, our community stepped up in a huge way to help us open a temporary setup that saved lives. But we knew that temporary fixes aren't enough. We want to offer lasting dignity, safety, and comfort.

That is why, at the end of March, we are officially opening our new, year-round temporary overnight shelter inside our Valley Avenue facility! This low-barrier program will be the first of its kind in our area to operate 365 days a year—ensuring that those on the streets can have a warm meal and a safe place to lay their head, no matter the season.

We are replacing basic cots with high-quality roll-away beds, brand-new linens, and storage for personal belongings. But to make this monumental step a reality, we need your help to reach our $5,000 fundraising goal to fully outfit the space.

Here is how your financial gift directly translates to outfitting this new space:
🛏️ $160 covers the cost of a new bed and mattress protector.
💤 $40 provides a fresh pillow and a new set of linens.
🚿 $20 provides a new towel and washcloth set.

Your financial gifts will go directly into our shelter launch fund to cover these exact costs, as well as necessary incidentals like soaps, shampoos, and maintenance supplies!

Whether you want to cover the cost of one bed, a bundle of linens, or simply give an amount that moves us closer to our goal, your generosity is building a foundation of hope.

Help us open these doors at the end of the month by giving today at https://gcld.co/Yvk7bmg

Thank you for continuing to stand with us!

The Holidays can be a beautiful, joyful time and they can also bring up intense, challenging emotions. Utilizing support structures and coping skills are essential for successful emotional regulation. Holding a baby goat might be helpful, too!
