2026: The Year of the Fire Horse

In the Chinese calendar, beginning February 17th of this year, the year of the fire horse begins. Not just the year of the horse, but the fire horse! This is a powerful distinction that represents breaking away from the comfort of stagnation and contemplation and into ACTION. This is a year for creating healthy habits and acting on those plans you have been brewing for awhile now. Don't wait for acceptance. Don't hold back. Don't apologize. Move forward and make the choice to BE. Your self-care habits are the first and most foundational steps of moving forward. Don't simply believe you are worthy of good things, show you are worthy of good things by acting on body, mind, and spirit and then taking those healthy habits into the world around you to foster a stronger community and healthier environment. Our individual actions become our community.

Welcome our new therapist! Kierra is dedicated to supporting community through deep presence and natural vitality practices, including therapeutic massage, energy work, Qigong, and wellness consultations focused on herbal and lifestyle support. She completed her massage training at the Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage and integrates trauma-informed approaches and principles from polyvagal theory into her work.
She has experience in a range of modalities tailored to each client’s unique needs. Her herbal education includes extensive self-study as well as live courses and mentorship with respected herbal educators including Rosemary Gladstar, Seraphina Capranos, and Sarah Wu. Whether supporting deep relaxation or targeted muscle recovery, she strives to ensure every client feels seen, supported, and renewed after each session.

Her long-term goal is to help up-level lives through supportive counseling and accessible, realistic wellness methodologies that people can actually integrate into daily life.

Outside of her work, Kierra enjoys spending time with family, hiking mountains, live music, making soap, and exploring gong fu cha space.
