The Shenandoah Valley Family Practice Residency Program is a fully accredited 3-year residency program located in northwest Virginia, just 70 miles west of Washington D.C. Our residency program is affiliated with the Medical College of Virginia / Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. We are accredited by both the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education and the American Osteopathic Association, allowing full board certification eligibility for MD and DO physicians. Residents will practice small-town medicine at Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal, VA, as well as work with cutting-edge subspecialists at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA, a regional referral center offering a top-ranked heart & vascular program, neonatal ICU, level II trauma center, and was recently named a top 5 hospital in Virginia by US News and World Report. Applications to the program are accepted September through December via Electronic Residency Application Service.
