For Day 6 of American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living's National Skilled Nursing Care Week (NSNCW) at Mountain City Rehab Center we played Daisy Day Chip Cup Bounce, which is a game that is reminiscent of a game played by many in college. Residents bounced a bingo chip off the table and across into their opponents cup. The object of the game was to bounce a chip in each cup and the person who gets all the cups first won!

For Day 5 of American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living's National Skilled Nursing Care Week (NSNCW) at Mountain City Rehab Center on hibiscus day, we celebrated the Hawaiian culture playing Hukihuki (Tug of War) and finishing out the day with Pineapple Punch, Pineapple Fluff and some good music. We even watched our friends sing and dance and have a good time at Karaoke!

We held a Cherry Blossom Bucket Scavenger Hunt for Day 4 of American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living's National Skilled Nursing Care Week (NSNCW) at Mountain City Rehab Center! Residents enjoyed sifting through colored rice to find 53 items hidden deep down in the bucket. Residents were split into teams of 2 to work together and encourage togetherness and team work!

For Day 3 of American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living's National Skilled Nursing Care Week at Mountain City Rehab Center, we enjoyed a balloon pop early in the day and in the afternoon we were blessed with having a small band which we called "The Afternoon Entertainment Band" (formerly the Chinese Bandits but down a few members). We enjoyed hearing the songs we knew live and moved and sang along!
