We gathered for our Annual Super Bowl Watch Party at Frostburg Rehab Center! Everyone enjoyed pizza, wings, snacks, and ice cream! Some came for the food, some came for the game, some came for the commercials. All came and had a great time, socializing and cheering on their favored team! Oh and yes there were a few die hard fans that stayed to the end!

Congratulations to our January 2026 Employee of the Month at Frostburg Rehab Center, Lorin Rounds. Lorin is our floor tech, working in our housekeeping department . Lorin is kind and caring and is very vigilant in keeping our hallways and floors sparkling! Throwback Thursday to our Christmas Angel Tree Gift Giving at Frostburg Rehab Center, organized by our activities department! There was such an amazing response from staff, families, local surrounding communities, and local churches. Residents were so touched by your generosity! To celebrate our activities team during Activity Professionals Week at Frostburg Rehab Center, the interdisciplinary team planned and hosted our afternoon resident activity. Our administration team hosted trivia, along with fried bread dough and white bean sampling. There were a variety of topping for our residents to sample, grape, strawberry jelly, and apple butter. This also led to the residents reminiscing about snow storms they had weathered, and cooking and baking experiences when they were growing up. There were lots of smiles and laughs and a good time of discussion. Thank you to our administrative staff for creating a moment of joy for our residents!

“Beyond the Ordinary, Everyday Superheroes.” - Frostburg Rehab Center celebrated the amazing Activity Professionals and their dedicated efforts to promote an ongoing activities program that focus on each individual and their personal activity preferences during Activity Professionals Week. We offer support for resident engagement preference; independent, 1:1, and groups. Focusing on the whole person promoting the key activity domains; physical, cognitive, social, creative, spiritual, and sensory activities. This is a huge undertaking, however these individuals have accepted this challenge, and answered the calling placed on them! Thank you, Christine Sullivan- Activities Director, Activity Aides- Eric Wilhelm, Laura Tingler, Rashanna Middleton, Kimberly Blocher, Laurie Ward. This incredible team goes above and beyond to assure our Community is decorated for each holiday, and provide an outstanding daily activities program. Thank you to each one of you, truly you are Beyond the Ordinary, Everyday Superheroes! Thank you to our incredible Administator- Elizabeth Daniel’s for your love and support!

Thank you to the Pastor, First Lady, parents, and children of Ministry Of Encouragement MD Church for joining us at Frostburg Rehab Center for caroling and passing of stockings to each resident. The children worked hard decorating the stockings and residents were so appreciative of the gesture. Each stocking had a gift of toiletries inside.

We gathered at Frostburg Rehab Center for a Christmas program with Pastor Jim Jeffries and chorale group of LaVale Baptist Church or Lavale, MD. Our dining room was the perfect setting for residents, family, and friends to gather for an evening to celebrate the season. Residents sang along in our candlelit dining room, in beautiful harmony to a host of popular carols. Thank you to our guests for such a lovely evening!
