Frostburg Rehab Center Employee Spotlight!
Michele Beitzel, LPN has been employed at Frostburg Rehab Center for over 11 years. She was inspired to work in long term care to be able to provide continuity of care to the residents. She most enjoys providing care to the residents and helping them have a better day each day to the best of her ability. What makes Frostburg Rehab center different from other communities, is to be able to address concerns with the entire management team and take care of our residents holistically. When describing the team culture Michele says, “ we have strong team players that are very knowledgeable and helpful here.” Team effort is what makes her proud to work here. Having the ability to care for our residents is what keeps her coming back each day. Michele states,” the leadership team supports me by helping me with challenges and circumstances, educating me on my weaknesses or skills I have not done in a while.” “ I felt really apreciated when I was thanked for the care I was providing to a resident by their loved one several times.” This job has helped me to grow professionally because, much grace has been demonstrated to me while I was still learning the ropes of long term care.” “Working here feels rewarding to care for the elderly.”
