Our Personal Experience
To tell you about HomeLife Personal Care services, we must first tell you the story of us. We are sisters whose family experienced an inexplicable tragedy in 1978. Our little brother Robbie underwent what was thought to be minor surgery, but came away suffering a traumatic brain injury. He was 9 years old and the youngest sibling. We struggled to aide our mother in caring for Robbie but as we all grew older and started families of our own and some of us moved away, the burden of 24 hour care fell solely to our mother. We learned many things from our years with Robbie. He changed our lives, not so much because of his condition, while indeed a factor, but because of his character. One lesson we learned early on is that dependable, quality assistance is very difficult to find.
We have dedicated our lives to careers in healthcare and helping those who cannot help themselves. We have 90 combined years of professional healthcare and homecare experience and a life time of personal experience taking care of the needs of patients. All together again, we realized a lifelong dream to provide help to other families that are in as much need as we were by forming Homelife. We are a local company not a franchise. Our experience has taught us there are many that can benefit from our services, from the newly disabled to veterans returning home, to the new mother that needs help with a precious newborn and all that is in between!
