Alright, who’s feeling the turkey coma already? 🦃🥧 There’s a reason for that! Turkey contains tryptophan, an amino acid your body uses to make serotonin and melatonin. These are the hormones that help regulate sleep and relaxation. 🧠💤 Pair that with a big meal full of mashed potatoes, stuffing, pie — hello, carbs and sugar — and your blood flow shifts to digestion, making your brain even sleepier. Yeah... it's no wonder that cozy chair suddenly looks really inviting! 😴
