Spring is a season of emergence—when what has been quietly gestating begins to take form. Just as the earth awakens and blossoms, we too carry a deep creative life force within our bodies waiting to be expressed.

In this experiential somatic workshop for women, we will explore the body as a source of wisdom, creativity, and manifestation. Through guided somatic practices, breath, movement, and gentle relational exercises, we will reconnect to sensation, awaken sensual aliveness, and create space for what wants to grow in our lives.

Together we will explore:
•Reconnecting to the body’s wisdom, & innate creative, life force
•Awakening sensuality as a pathway to living a fuller, more embodied life
•Desire as an arrow pointing towards authenticity & what is most important to us
•Understanding the language of the body for creation, expression, & liberation
•Cultivating clarity & embodiment around what we are calling into our lives
•The Art of Giving & Receiving
•Quantum Law & The Science of Possibility

Because of the nature & vulnerability of the space, it is being offered to Women only. Please inquire if you fall out of this category and would like to explore similar themes

This space will also invite curiosity, authenticity, compassionate connection with self, and awakens your heart’s deepest desires. No prior somatic experience is necessary—only a willingness to listen to the wisdom of your body.

Come as you are, and step into the becoming of your own inner spring.

Hello, World! Kálya & Ayesha here & we are super excited to share a very special offering with our Utah community!

Tenderness & Tension is a workshop where we will explore human connection through authenticity, play, intentional touch, & rope.

Ayesha is a Clinical Somatic Therapist and Movement Educator, 500+ ERYT, somatic breathwork facilitator, trauma informed care provider, & playful student of life! One of the primary aspects of her work is teaching individuals how to understand the language of their body, release the thwarted stress that gets stuck in the body, and expand their capacity to live a life of greater freedom, possibility & choice! She has been offering some of the tools we will be exploring in our workshop together with her clients as well as devoted herself to them for her own personal healing and growing journey for the past 5 years.

Kálya is a licensed massage therapist (LMT) with a focus on Myoskeletal Alignment Technique. He has a passion for acrobatics and partner circus arts, where collaboration, communication,& trust are fundamental. He is also a seeker of knowledge and unconventional ways of relating to other humans. His curiosity with rope as a pathway to self-discovery & creating intimacy in relationships began 5 years ago and he is continuously intrigued by the never-ending pathways that rope can lead.

We have found the practices we have chosen for our workshop to be deeply enriching and connecting for our personal relationship we are growing. We have found when there is tension, the practices bring us back to tenderness. We can’t wait to share them with you!

Join us on an experiential journey of playful intimacy & authentic connection.

As social creatures, connecting & relating to other humans is wired in our biology. Our relationships can offer some of the most potent mirrors into our deepest, innermost layers & can inform us of who we are & parts of ourselves that may need some tending to.

With an intentionally curated blend of practices, we will co-create a container to explore your connection to Self & other through consent, boundary, breath, authentic relating, sensation, touch, & basic rope play.

Participants will be somatically guided through boundary & consent practices to build clarity, agency, trust. The art of giving & receiving with offer an awakening to sensation & deepen our capacity to receive pleasure. Ta***ic breathwork will help cultivate embodied awareness & energetic exchange, & authentic relating games offer a playful yet profound way to practice connection through honesty, curiosity, & emotional attunement. Intentional touch by way of a guided massage flow, along with an introductory one-rope technique will allow participants to explore sensation, trust, power dynamics, communication, creativity, & play in an embodied & respectful way.

This workshop emphasizes how to stay connected to your center while being in relationship with another, listening deeply to your body, and honoring both your yes & your no. Whether you’re seeking personal growth, deeper intimacy skills, or a more authentic way of connecting, this space is designed to support you in meeting yourself & others with honesty, play, & integrity.

Come with a friend, a lover, or solo & we will pair you with someone new! No prior experience required–only a willingness to be present, curious, & respectful of yourself & others.

Trauma impacts/ has impacted virtually every human on this planet to various degrees. Trauma in a foundational sense is a rupture in safety, belonging, & dignity. Safety, belonging & dignity are inherent human needs. They are essential to living life as our best, to our evolution, and to our physical, mental, emotional, social, & spiritual wellbeing. Yet so many do not have an embodied understanding of these inherent human needs due to oppression & power over systems. At some point along our healing journeys we must realize that we must regenerate safety, belonging & dignity for ourselves and our communities, not from waiting for the external systems to change but rather from an embodied shift from the inside out. We do this from establishing embodied boundaries, learning how to say yes when we mean yes, learning how to say no when we mean no, learning how to give and receive authentic consent, learning how to make centered requests that are connected to what is most important to us, learning how to look at and heal our shame, and learning how to connect to our inner resilience.

We will explore all of this and more tomorrow in this months Embodied Living Workshop. Please join me in this very important discussion & work.

Safety, Belonging, & Dignity are inherent, biological needs. Yet, there are so many who do not have an embodied sense of these needs. Many have experienced a rupture in one or more of these needs due to trauma, oppression, & power over systems. Eventually, we must realize that though safety, belonging, & dignity are essential to our very existence, they are not granted to us by our social structures & we must learn how to provide them for ourselves. We must realize the pain of the protective, survival strategies that we developed in response to these ruptures & the impact that they have on the way that we move through life. We must learn how to develop boundaries that protect us from harm without shutting out the parts of life that are nourishing & beautiful. We must learn how to move out of reactionary survival strategy & move into responses that are accurate in the present moment & aligned with what is most important to us. We must create spaces where we can feel free to be ourselves & pursue the life that we long for.

This Embodied Living workshop will explore the complexity of safety, belonging & dignity. We will unpack questions of:

What does safety mean in a world where prejudice, oppression, coercion, violence, war, & poverty exist?

What does it mean to belong?

Why do so many people experience loneliness even when they are in relationship to others?

How do we embody our inherent dignity?

How do we dignify another?

How do we generate safety for ourselves so that we may shift out of reactions & into centered responses that are accurate in the present moment?

We will learn somatic practices to create safety, belonging, & dignity for ourselves including how to develop embodied boundaries, how to move & take action from our center, authentically consent, make centered requests, how to heal shame, remember our inherent resilience, and more.

Please join me in this vital exploration of regenerating safety, belonging & dignity for ourselves & each other.

What does it mean to be embodied? It is one thing to understand something conceptually, & an entirely different experience to somatically know, or embody it. Embodiment is having an awareness not only of what we profess, but also HOW we are actually being in the world. It is the integration of what we say, how we think, with what we do. It is the alignment of our dreams, desires, values, & our actions.

Embodiment, also, is to be in-a-body. To have an awareness that every single experience, belief, thought, emotion, & expectation is ALIVE inside the body. It is the understanding that the body is both the technology through which we experience life AND is the vessel that holds all of our experiences of life. This essentially means that our past & present are a l i v e inside of us, shaping our physical form through muscular patterning, posture, facial expressions, gestures, movement patterns & cellular memory. Every single moment of pain, pleasure, joy, grief, fear, hope, heartbreak, love, even experiences that we do not have conscious memory of are embedded into our neurobiology & informs our relationship with self, others, & the natural world around us.

In this Embodied Living Series, we will explore the scientific process of somatic transformation & how to bridge what is with who we long to be.
We will explore what is means to be in a body, how to meet what is, how to somatically grow capacity for change & possibility, how to hold contradiction, grow clarity around what it is we truly desire, how to deepen our connection to self, other, & life itself, how to self-regulate, how to become the determiner of your destiny, how to integrate new practices to embody new ways of being, and so much more.

The series will be separated into 5 weeks, offering space to apply the somatic principles we will be learning into your everyday. Each week will build on the next, though you will be able to jump into any part of the series at any time. For those who wish to do the series in its entirety, there will be a recording of any potential dates that you may miss.

02/04/2025

Sensation is the language of the body. It is how our body communicates with us & conveys our inner wisdom. The body expresses itself through temperature, vibration, pulsation, impulse, tightness, openness, pressure, movement & shape. Sensation is not only a process of receiving information from the outer environment but sensation also informs about what is alive in our inner environment. Every single sensation offers insight into our health, our thoughts, feelings, beliefs, perceptions, expectations & emotions.

Yet for so many, we have learned to quiet these inner whisperings due to coping strategies from past experiences where we learned that it was not safe to feel. While at one point this strategy may have made sense, this strategy often repeats, becoming a pattern in many or all aspects of our lives. But we can learn how to feel ourselves again in a way that builds a capacity for us to experience the vastness of our human existence.

Sensation is a key component of somatic awareness & this awareness is the entry point to somatic transformation. With awareness we are able to create space for the completion of thwarted stress responses in the body. We can come to know our embodied patterns & conditioned tendencies, how & where we are resisting the flow of life, how & where we are open to receive the flow of life, & what is being called forth from our deepest waters. With somatic awareness, we cultivate a stronger capacity to replace default habits with thoughts, behaviors & actions of our choice. Essentially, awareness allows us to live a life of greater authenticity & in alignment with our values, dreams & desires.

The practice is simply to notice sensation with a compassionate curiosity. To give permission to move at our own pace & develop a strong sense of resilience that offers space where we can slowly pendulate between sensations of comfort & pleasure, as well as discomfort & activation. In the beginning, sensation may not be obvious but as you continue to turn towards noticing, you can eventually build the capacity to do so. Energy will flow where your attention goes. And we can learn to live the life of our heart’s deepest longing.💗

F E E L I N G🌹

To feel is to experience our own aliveness,
A barometer of the life that flows through us,
A sense of understanding who we are.

To feel is to speak the language of the body
The vessel which holds every single experience, every thought, belief, fear, every dream & desire,
The vessel that allows us to taste the sweet nectars of existence.
And the texture of our soul.

To feel allows us to form connection with ourselves, others, & the world around us,
The enlivening of a mountain breeze,
The clarity amidst a forest of trees,
The expansion within a loved one’s embrace,
The belonging in truly being seen.

To feel is to flow with the currents of cosmic creation,
To experience the aliveness of our blood,
The frequency of form,
The sacred of our tears,
The intelligence of our heart.

There are moments when feeling feels too heavy to hold. Strategies of hiding, hardening & running away surface, & we isolate ourselves into fragmented parts of that which is welcomed or does not belong to cope. This strategy is an indicator of our body intelligence & it’s unwavering commitment to protect itself & maintain its survival. Though this strategy often repeats, forming maladaptive patterns that deprive us from our own source energy. In the armoring of undesirable feelings, we simultaneously disconnect ourselves from beauty, connection, inspiration, awe.

It is through our pain that we can truly know our pleasure. And it is through our grief that we expand our capacity to know love. This is the duality of life.

And this is precisely what we are here to do. To learn how to integrate all parts of ourselves.

To feel is to know not only the expansiveness of our joy, passion, pleasure, bliss,
But also the depths of our grief, shame, fears & pain.
To bravely voyage through the vast spectrum of our own beingness
& come into contact with our WHOLE self.

There is no feeling too big to express, just containers that have not learned how to hold.
Somatics teaches us HOW to create more space, HOW to hold contradiction, HOW to know our resilience so that we may heal the deepest, most tender parts of ourselves & live a life of greater possibility, freedom & choice.

It’s Scorpio season ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥and I am feeling all fired up to share a special offering that has ignited my soul and deeply supported me through one of the craziest roller coaster years of my life~ Returning to my Heart. 🫀

So much more than just a blood pumping, physical organ, the heart has long been honored by many ancient Wisdom traditions as the center of our being and the source of our innate wisdom. Modern Science is slowly catching up in understanding why. This exploration will be a mergence of these two often polarized ontologies that are actually saying the same thing, only using a different language.

This is NOT your typical heart opening yoga class that offers a bunch of backbends & a cliche quote about following your heart. While these classes are beautiful & absolutely inspiring, often we explore the heart without fully understanding the actual physiological processes & science around what makes the heart so incredibly powerful to truly make way for tangibility in the body.

In this experiential journey, we will re-member the heart as our sacred center through an embodied understanding. We will learn WHY the heart truly is the master conductor of our entire being, HOW to establish coherence in the heart, HOW to integrate somatic practices that foster a deepened awareness & opening to live a fuller, more embodied life, HOW to heighten our own sense of aliveness, & HOW to materialize our hearts desires. We’ll explore sensory play, somatic movement, heart energetics, HeartMath & a sound bath guiding us into the materialization of our hearts deepest longing.

Join me for a somatic voyage into unlocking the potential of the heart & the essence of your being: Kardia

“All of us have to learn how to invent our lives, make them up, imagine them. We need to be taught these skills; we need guides to show us how. If we don't, our lives get made up for us by other people.”
~Ursula K. le Guin

We are often taught that to use our imagination is to be immature, irrational & unrealistic. Grow up, they said. Be logical. Don’t be so childish. What if what we’ve been taught about using our imaginations was a lie?

What if our imagination was not something that reflected a lack of experience, intelligence or knowing but rather was the very thing that allowed us to stretch ourselves into new forms, a magical tool that allowed us to actualize our hearts deepest longings & live our biggest, wildest dreams?

If we don’t use our imaginations, we will operate from the experiences of our past, meaning we will always be who we’ve already been. In order to expand ourselves into new heights, touching into spaces we have yet to grow before, imagination is absolutely essential. Our neurobiology is deeply informed by how we think, how we perceive, what we believe, and what we imagine. We are malleable beings that can take on new forms of our choice & the way that we can shape ourselves is by unleashing our wildest fantasies to flow through us through image, sensation, e m o t i o n, impulse & then aligning our actions to mirror that experience.

So, What can you imagine? How big can you dream? ✨🌹

If you are interested in learning more and receiving guidance in on somatically creating this for yourself, I would love to support you. DM me to schedule a discovery call. 😘

It is not so much that the boat passed
and you failed to notice it.
It is more like the boat stopping
directly outside your bedroom window,
the captain blowing the signal-horn,
the band playing a rousing march.
The boat shouted, waving bright flags,
its silver hull blinding in the sunlight.
going by train.
You kept checking the time-table,
digging for tracks.
Anthe boat got tired of you,
so tired it pulled up the anchor
and raised the ramp.
The boat bobbed into the distance,
shrinking like a toy—
at which point you probably realized
you had always loved the sea.

Naomi Shihab Nye Different Ways to Pray-1980

What do you do when you receive exactly what you desire?

Even more, do you even know what it is that you desire? Or ask yourself why you desire it?

Do you freeze in your steps & reconsider everything that you thought you’ve always wanted? Or do you willingly receive with open arms by your dreams literally unfolding before you?

I have recently had a BIG dream of mine become a very real possibility in my reality & do you know how my nervous system is responding? GI feel sick to my stomach. I want to curl up in a ball in a dark hole & hide from me receiving the very thing that has been fueling my actions & why the last 2+ years!

Is it that I have changed my mind & this is no longer something that I desire anymore? Or is it that I am clinging to the idea that I didn’t imagine my dream would look this way? Or is it that I have yet to truly BELIEVE & EMBODY THAT I AM WORTHY OF RECEVING EXACTLY WHAT I DESIRE?

In the process, I am recognizing that what I desire the most, is also the thing that I fear the most. And until I recognize the part of me that is afraid, those old unconscious beliefs & conditioning will rule me & I will never be able to fully actualize my hearts deepest longings.

So I ask myself today, What do I fear the most? What am i willing to lose? Am I willing to confront my own shadow so that I may fully open myself to receive all that I dream & live a life of infinite possibility, choice & my biggest, wildest, most sacred expression?

Eeeekkk!!! I am afraid AND I am ready!!! Let’s burn, baby. ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥
