🦋Children’s Grief Awareness Day 🦋
Every child who has lost someone, especially a close family member, carries that loss with them. They may return to school, rejoin activities, and seem “back to normal,” but inside, there’s often a space shaped by grief that never fully goes away.
Grieving children frequently feel different from their peers, alone in their experience, and unsure who understands. In every school and every community, there are children silently carrying the weight of loss.
We can help them feel less alone.
Children and adults together can show grieving kids that they are seen, supported, and valued by honoring Children’s Grief Awareness Day.
Holding On to HOPE
When someone we love dies, the pain can feel overwhelming. While grief lasts a lifetime, the intensity can soften. There is hope, hope that it won’t always hurt as much, hope that life will grow around the loss.
Today, and every day, we can show grieving children: “I care, and I’m here.”
Exciting News!
Camp ZOE Grief Camp is joining with the nonprofit Ancora Legacy Foundation to bring a transformational children’s grief camp to Ontario in June 2026. It’s the same meaningful Camp ZOE experience you know, now strengthened by a beautiful new partnership.
