I had a great time in Morgantown— checking in on my boy, fellow Pittsburgh native and legendary WVU Hall of Fame QB,

It was great catching up. We talked about life and discussed his experiences as a former Mountaineer and in his current role as Player Development Director.

While touring the facility, I also ran into a former Eagle ._c._ who put the clamps down on Heisman winner Travis Hunter (as a true frosh) when we upset Jackson State for the Black National Championship. 🏆

✨ Transformation Tuesday! Shoutout to Diane, my amazing client, for crushing her goals these past 6 months! 💪🏽

Earlier this year, one of my former Florida clients reached out, ready to level up. We connected virtually, and she’s been rocking it ever since. 💪🏽
Diane juggles a demanding corporate career, motherhood, and being a hands-on grandma. She still prioritizes her health, training 3 mornings a week BEFORE her workday starts! 🤯
I’m SO proud of her 6-month transformation. These pics show why I tell clients not to obsess over the scale. Diane’s down 5lbs, but her non-scale victories are HUGE:
* Inches and body fat LOST ✅
* Energy UP ✅
* Better sleep
* Back pain GONE ✅
* ⬆️ more muscle mass
* Mobility and confidence through the ROOF ✅
This is all hard work and consistency, no ozempic, gimmicky diets or quick fixes here. 🙅🏽‍♂️

Remember ladies, you all have thinner and smaller bones and lose estrogen as you age all of which makes you more susceptible to osteoporosis and other issues. Resistance training is paramount if you want to age gracefully.

I think it’s safe to assume that most of us know about the physical benefits of resistance training, but in honor of Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month here are a few of the psychological/physiological benefits:

•it helps reduce anxiety & depression
•it increases mood boosting chemicals such as serotonin and dopamine
•lowers cortisol which is a stress hormone
•it keeps blood flowing to the brain helping with memory and cognitive decline
•it’s one of the most promising defenses against Alzheimer’s disease
•it makes you feel better and improves your energy
•it helps improve your relationship with your body
