Had the pleasure of sitting with David Gerardo Ochoa, a senior district representative for Senator Tom Umberg at the Fullerton Collaborative meeting on Monday. We learned about the wonderful work the Parentis Foundation is doing. I love that High Hopes Counseling gets to collaborate with such great organizations.

Our quarter 2 board meeting was small, but insightful. Thank you Lulu Coffee Bar for hosting our meeting and serving yummy coffee and bagels. Look out for our 5 year anniversary Day of Giving event happening on August 24th.

We are beyond grateful to everyone who showed up, donated, volunteered, and walked with us at the 5K fundraiser in honor of Rylie “Milo.” 💜

Your support meant more than words can say. Seeing so many people come together to walk with purpose and remembrance really filled our hearts with hope.

Remember: always reach out for help whenever you feel like you need it! There’s never a right or wrong time to ask for help ❤️

But if you need some help recognizing if you should seek a professional, do so if you’re expecting the following:

- Difficulty sleeping
- Changes in appetite or unexpected weight loss/gain
- Difficulty getting out of bed in the morning
- Difficulty concentrating
- Loss of interest/pleasure in doing things once enjoyed
- Inability to complete everyday tasks and activities
- Feelings of irritability, frustration, or restlessness

We’re having our first 5K walking fundraiser this June 8th! 🏃 👟

We’re so excited to be hosting this event. This walk is in honor of Rylie “Milo” & others who have lost the battle to depression and mental health struggles. We want to raise money to continue giving support back to our community as a local nonprofit. ❤️
