Our community is on the front lines of a mental health crisis and too many families are carrying trauma, fear, and uncertainty without support.
When Isabella joined Mamas de Garnet, she learned something she’d never allowed herself to believe: she mattered too. This healing helped her become more present, and it changed her whole family.
Mental health care shouldn’t be a luxury. That’s why we’re working to expand mental health support to entire families across our programs. A year-end gift helps make healing without stigma possible.

Marisol came to after a judge had ordered her removed and she only had a few days to fight for the right to stay in the place she now calls home. Our team instantly moved to rebuild her case and through our work, it became clear that she had a strong claim for protection. Yet, without legal defense she nearly lost everything.

When our city council prepared to vote on a resolution supporting immigrant families, a group of teens from the Maple neighborhood stepped up to the microphone. They spoke about their families. They spoke with courage. And by the time the last teen finished, the room was stunned into silence. Moments like this don’t happen by accident. These young leaders grew up in our teen center, a space made possible by donors like you. It’s where they learned to find their voice, practice leadership, and believe they could make change in their own community.
