✨ Last week, our teens went to — for many, it was their first time away from home, their first camp experience, and the first time trying things like kayaking, rafting, and conquering huge ropes courses. 🌲🔥 It’s more than just a trip — it’s a chance to grow, connect, and create lifelong memories! Last week we wrapped up our third week of summer program with an exciting egg drop experiment and a group sleepover at ! The kids had such a fun time seeing if their eggs survived the drop and spending the night with friends! We can’t believe that there is only 2 weeks left of summer program !!!

Camping with Tilt Outdoor Program isn’t just about being outdoors — it’s about learning useful, hands-on skills that stick. Things like starting a fire, cooking over a flame, reading a map, working as a team, and figuring things out when the unexpected happens.

For many of the youth we work with, it’s their first time going camping. It’s also the first time they get to step into new roles, try something unfamiliar, and realize they’re more capable than they thought.

These weekends leave a lasting impact. It’s not just about camping — it’s about building confidence, connection, and a sense of what’s possible!

🌿 In 2024, nature became a classroom, a playground, and a path to growth for 282 youth and families. 🌟

Through our Tilt Outdoor Programs, young people stepped outside their comfort zones — and into adventure, confidence, and connection.

Here’s what 2024 looked like:

🎣 Fishing was our most popular activity with 208 participants across 13 events:
▪️ 40 young people went fishing for the very first time
▪️ 43 caught their very first fish
▪️ 104 came back for more — proof that one experience can spark a lifelong love of the outdoors

🧗‍♂️ Rock Climbing helped 12 students build confidence and new skills — many climbed real rock foundations for the first time ever

🏕️ Camping created unforgettable, multi-day adventures for 62 participants — from teens scaling cliffs to families bonding by the lake

Whether it was a first catch, first climb, or first night under the stars, these moments shaped courage, joy, and growth in 2024.
