School Physical Education Workshop was a concept in 1992 and became a reality in th

e summer of 1993. Held at Cal State Fullerton, the first workshop brought presenters from across the nation to address the unique needs of middle school Physical Education. The comprehensive, three and a half day professional development workshop addresses the state standards, assessment, management tools, fitness and curriculum drawing on some of the best local and national teachers to present. Heading the presenters cast this year are Crystal Gorwitz, Paige Metz, Nate Folan and Dave Blackney. In addition to these four educators we will also present sessions on fitness, 7th and 8th grade curriculum and assessment. •Brochure/Applications have been sent out.
