Here's exactly what I prep (swipe for the full breakdown):

✅ Proteins batch-cooked
✅ Veggies chopped and portioned
✅ 3 sauces that work on everything
✅ Breakfasts pre-built for the whole week

This is how busy parents eat well without losing their minds.

🍎 Snack or skip it? The answer might surprise you. 👇

If you're a busy Fulshear parent, your snacking probably looks less like "apple and almonds" and more like goldfish crackers grabbed from the back seat between carpool and soccer practice. No judgment — we've been there. 😅

But here's the truth: snacking isn't the problem. Mindless snacking is.

Swipe through to learn the simple snack formula that keeps your energy steady, your hunger in check, and your health goals on track — even on the most chaotic days. ➡️

✅ Aim for 10g protein + 4g fiber per snack
✅ Stop grazing — start snacking with purpose
✅ Build meals that actually keep you full

Your health matters, even when everything else is fighting for your attention. 💪

Your daily walk is more powerful than you think. 🚶‍♀️✨

You don't need a gym, a babysitter, or a 5am alarm to get a real workout in. You just need to walk smarter.

Here are 4 upgrades that turn your everyday stroll into a legit fitness routine — perfect for busy parents short on time but not on ambition:
1️⃣ Mix up your pace — intervals aren't just for runners. Speed up for 30-60 seconds, recover, repeat. Your heart will thank you.
2️⃣ Add a weighted vest — 10% of your body weight can meaningfully increase calorie burn AND support bone health. Strength training in disguise. 💪
3️⃣ Throw on a playlist or make a phone call — upbeat music raises your cadence without you even noticing. More steps = more burn. 🎵
4️⃣ Try Nordic walking — yes, with the poles. Burns up to 40% more calories than a regular walk AND is easier on your joints. Game changer. 🎿

Small tweaks. Real results. No Chad the personal trainer required. 😂

Between school pickups, work, and everything in between — finding time for your health can feel impossible. 🙋

But here's the truth no one tells you: you don't need more time. You need commitment.

Commitment doesn't mean 2-hour gym sessions. It means choosing yourself — even on the hard days. A 20-minute walk. A better lunch. A consistent bedtime.

Small, repeated choices made with intention are what create lasting change. Not perfection. Not a perfect schedule.

You're already showing up for everyone else. It's time to show up for yourself too. 💪

✨ 4 ingredients. 12 minutes. One powerful anti-inflammatory tea. ✨

This "Golden Tea" has been a game-changer for my wellness routine — and it's made with stuff already in your kitchen! 🙌

🟡 1 tbsp turmeric powder
🫚 Thumb-sized fresh ginger
🌶️ Pinch of black pepper
🍂 1 cinnamon stick

Simmer in 4 cups of water for 12 minutes and you're done.

The black pepper is KEY — it helps your body actually absorb the active compounds in turmeric so you get the full benefit. 💡

Will it cure everything? Nope. But paired with good sleep, regular exercise, and a solid diet, it's a warm, low-calorie drink that can genuinely support your health. 💛

Busy parents — this one's worth reading. 🙌

We all know exercise is important. But a new study suggests that when you work out could actually change your health outcomes in a big way.
Researchers tracked 14,000+ adults using real wearable data (not just "yeah I worked out" self-reporting 😄) and found that people who exercised in the morning consistently had:

✅ 35% lower obesity rates
✅ 31% lower risk of heart disease
✅ 30% lower risk of Type 2 diabetes
✅ Better cholesterol & blood pressure numbers

And the best part? These results showed up regardless of how much they were exercising total. It was the timing that made the difference.

For parents especially, mornings have one huge advantage — nobody has wrecked your plans yet. 😂 Once the day gets going, it gets gone.

You don't need a huge time block. A 20-minute walk. A quick circuit before the kids wake up. Something small, done consistently, earlier in the day.

If you're looking for a fitness plan that actually fits the reality of parent life — check out my book Busy Parent Health & Fitness. It's the no-excuses, no-judgment guide to getting healthy on YOUR schedule. 👇

🏆 WHY CONSISTENCY WINS IN FITNESS

Results don't come from one perfect workout — they come from showing up regularly! Small, steady efforts build strength and endurance over time.

Every step forward is worth celebrating! 🎉

Here are tips to stay consistent as a busy parent:
✅ Schedule workouts like appointments — put them in your calendar
✅ Start with just 10–15 minutes a day if that's all you have
✅ Lay out your workout clothes the night before
✅ Find a workout buddy to keep you accountable
✅ Track your progress — seeing growth keeps you motivated
✅ Don't skip twice — missing one day is okay, missing two becomes a habit

Progress over perfection. Every single time. 💪
