We experienced truly uplifting singing today, Good Friday. The residents always eagerly anticipate Bro. Kevin Smith with Sanctuary Hospice. They delight in joining in harmony. Today was exceptionally meaningful because he not only sang but also shared the profound significance of Easter.

This year, residents decided to ditch tradition and go for an egg-cellent adventure with a scavenger hunt instead of an Easter egg hunt. Baskets were strategically placed everywhere, and clever clues were given to find the hidden loot. Staff and residents had an absolute blast. And the best part? All the sugary goodness they got to devour afterward. It was a fun afternoon.

Today we were blessed to commemorate another extraordinary milestone, as Thomas Pearce celebrated his 100th birthday, surrounded by joy and celebration, and we hope every moment was a treasured highlight for him.

Yesterday, we were blessed with the talents of Mr. Marvin Henry, whose piano playing and singing brought immense joy to our residents, who sang along delightfully. Today, Morgan and Heather from Community Hospice spread cheer with a spring-themed craft, perfectly celebrating the first day of the season. Thank you for bringing radiant smiles to the faces of our residents.

What an extraordinary milestone! We were thrilled to celebrate Mrs. Clytee Barber's remarkable 106th birthday today. The residents loved singing to her on this special day. Family and friends lavished her with cards, balloons, flowers, and gifts. We hope her special day was truly an unforgettable day.

When you have some ladies sitting together, you ask them if they would like to do some watercoloring. I love to see them smile and see the magic of water. They loved talking about how pretty their pictures turned out.
