Puppy love and dog walking 🐕, volunteering and shopping 🛍️, making pie 🥧 to celebrate National Pi Day, a beautiful walk to the park 🌳 and even a visit to the Missouri State Penitentiary Museum — Whew! We've been busy! So many experiences, so many smiles, and so many new things learned along the way. 💛

Monday was National Meatball Day and we found the BEST recipe! 🍝✨ Then we were treated to some amazing entertainment from our friend Katie. Singing, dancing, cooking, and eating — that’s a pretty great day in our book! 🎶💃

Today we wore red, yellow, and black in honor of our friend Haley and her love for all things Cobra Kai. ❤️💛🖤 It was a great way for us to remember her and the joy she brought to those around her. Fly high "baby girlfriend"! 🕊️

🌟 Staff Spotlight: Mandy! 🌟
Mandy has been a dedicated DSP with Day Solutions Callaway for a year and a half. A proud mom of four and grandma to seven, she treasures time with family and friends. Growing up in Fulton, Mandy has always loved animals and enjoys life with her dogs, cats, and horses—so there’s never a dull moment! 🐶🐱🐴
She loves listening to country music and taking relaxing drives down country roads with her husband. Mandy’s favorite part of being a DSP is watching clients achieve their goals and celebrating their successes. One of her favorite DS2 memories is listening to Daniel tell stories, which always bring joy and laughter for all of us. We are so thankful to have Mandy as part of our DS2 family! 🩷✨

Last week was full of fun (and flavor) in the kitchen! 😋
We shopped for ingredients, made festive individual King Cakes and scrumptious banana cookies for Mardi Gras, and kept the celebration going on National Muffin Day with blueberry, strawberry, and chocolate chip muffins.
Our taste testers gave our bakers two thumbs up! 👍🏼👍🏼

Our Valentines Day celebration was the sweetest! ♥️
We decorated Valentine bags, exchanged Valentines 💌, whipped up delicious treats 🍿🍪, tried chocolate covered strawberries 🍫🍓, challenged one another in Valentine Jeopardy, and showed off our creative side with awesome crafts 🎨.

🔦⭐️It's time for another client spotlight and this time it's on our friend Thomas! ⭐️🔦

Thomas loves going on outings—especially with Mr. Curt—and says his favorite activity is fishing 🎣. Thomas also enjoys playing games with friends, and says "Pie in the Face" is his all-time favorite!

Thomas is quite the comedian and he enjoys entertaining all of us! 🤩 He also likes building castles with Magna-Tiles and showing off his creativity through drawing and coloring 🎨. He’s a big fan of Sprite and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, likes watching Mary Poppins, and absolutely LOVES singing karaoke with his friends 🎤.

Thomas says one day, he'd like to learn how to make ice cream 🍦, and his favorite vacation spot is sunny Florida ☀️🌴.
