It’s been busy (and totally awesome!) at DS2! 🎉
Nana Kathy dropped by with her hilariously adventurous tales 🏴‍☠️, Loretta got everyone moving with some cardio drumming 🥁, and we whipped up cookies and apple dip — from scratch! 🍎🍪 🤤
Oh, and did we mention? We’ve officially started prepping for next year’s plant sale!! 🪴🌵🪻

Sports Day 2025 did not disappoint!
From running bases 🏃‍♂️💨 to volleyball challenges 🏐🙌 and lots of cheering 🎉 and dancing 💃🏽 and much more, we had SO MUCH FUN!
The smiles, the laughter, the memories and connecting with our friends from the other programs truly are the biggest wins of the day! 🏆💙🩷

🌟Our spotlight is shining brightly on Vincent!!🌟

Vincent started out with DS1 in Jefferson City and joined us when we opened 3 years ago. In his free time, he enjoys video games, but he also loves the outdoors—especially fishing. One of his favorite memories with DS2 is visiting Graham Cave, and he hopes to explore the caves of Springfield. He’s also looking forward to Camp Wonderland's Halloween Camp. Vincent enjoys singing and sharing his voice with us during karaoke. When it comes to Fall flavors, Vincent is all about Pumpkin Spice—especially in his coffee! We are thrilled to have Vincent as part of our DS2 Crew!

☀️ We had the best day in Linn, MO! ☀️
We received a behind-the-scenes look at how ambulances are made at Osage Ambulances 🚑, had a blast at the awesome Osage County Inclusive Playground 🛝, and capped it off with a refreshing drink at Sonic🥤on the way back to DS2. Nothing beats a day filled with learning, fun, and good vibes! 😎
